"So, how is this helping with our review?" Can asks when Tin pulls him in front of the ticket machine.

Tin has decided to enact Pete's plan, of subtly bringing Can into dates he has planned for them and masked it as part of their 'review session'. So here he is, at the mall, letting Can pick the movie he wants to watch.

"Well, uhm..." Tin purses his lips, trying to think of anything to reason his way out, even a flimsy explanation is very welcome but as he looks at Can, Tin finds himself devoid of any reason, of any thought at all, all he can think at that moment is how Can looks very cute, tilting his head at Tin and waiting for his answer.

"What?" Can crosses his arms against his chest.

"I..."

"Yes?"

Tin gulps. He's afraid when he says something, his voice would come out squeaky and totally high-pitched.

This is the first time this has happened to him, well, of course, considering his non-existent timeline of dating history, this is also the first time he has known the world 'love'.

But even though this is the first this has happened to him, Tin is persistent not to do anything stupid today. Not with Can. Not when he's really trying to make Can see that he's more of a bully than Can painted him to be.

"I... just... want you to have a different perspective and angles when it comes to... studying since watching can help you... achieve your goal and understand Calculus even more."

Wow. What a load of bullshit.

Can raises his eyebrow. "What? Is there a calculus movie here?"

Tin clears his throat and says with his 'I don't know what I'm talking about but please believe in me' voice, "Well, I read from an article back then that since watching a movie is a visual exercise, it actually triggers a certain part in our brain like there's this hormone in us that makes us want to study and to focus on our work even more so I just reckoned since you know, you don't have a practice today and Pete is busy, I asked you here because I think this will help you a lot."

Well, definitely, TIN IS LYING. Heck, he doesn't even know about hormones and whatnot, or anything related to Science at all. And although Tin did read an article back then about watching movies to increase someone's grad, it should've been about history or inspiring movies and certainly not a rom-com, like what Can is picking right now.

Wait. Wait. Rom-com?!

Can is a fan of rom-com?

Tin feels warmth and giddiness inside. Tin is secretly a sucker for rom-com, in fact, he has a stash of rom-com DVDs under his bed, from the classic movies to the modern ones, Tin has it all. But it's all done secretly.

Well, of course, he still needs to maintain his image of being a cold-hearted bastard and Tin would be damned if Pete knew his stash, Pete would surely pick on him.

But even if he's a fan, Tin doesn't want to watch romcom with Can, he is scared that he'd smile so wide or cry or goodness, if he'd giggle there then Can would see him in a different light, a light he doesn't want to be seen by anyone.

"Romcom?" Tin can't help but snort. "Can, are you a hopeless romantic? Pick something like... horror."

Can scoffs. "I know you're a robot who doesn't have any feeling but this is the only genre I can watch and not sleep. Horror is so boring. Come on Tin, please?" Can frowns. "You are the one asking me to pick and when I picked a rom-com movie, all of a sudden, you realized you didn't want to tarnish your image and reputation."
