The two boys were profoundly looking at their parents. Lucian was teary-eyed while Ace seemed frightened by the loud voices. It was the first time their parents were shouting at each other. Upon seeing how their sons reacted, the two stopped shouting. Lysele started preparing the dinner while Angelo opened up the television.
With a smile, Lysele called the family to dinner. Angelo also made a timid smile upon the two boys and asked them to go with him to the dining table.
"Okay kids, it's time for your dinner. Be sure you are going to eat well.", said Angelo.
"Eat your meals", commanded Lysele. Unlike her usual habit, she never handled the meal dish to her husband. Both Angelo and Lysele are not uttering a single word. The two boys also became very quiet in their seats, as if the food has no taste. They can feel the tension between their parents.
