After dinner, the two boys went back to their living room.

"Kuya, here's your toys, come and get it!", called Ace.

"You silly boy, give it back to me!", shouted Lucian. The two boys kept on running after each other filling the room with so much noise.

"Hey Lysele, will you please ask them to stop?!", commanded Angelo.

"Why didn't you do it yourself?! I am collecting the dishes!", Lysele answered back in a loud voice.

"I am working the whole day and you expect me to take care of these two boys? Look at them, they are so untidy!", said Angelo.

"Hah, I never stopped doing so many things", cried Lysele. The two kept on shouting and the two young boys eventually stopped, looking at their parents teary-eyed. Ace started to cry while Lucian just stood still.

Angelo and Lysele came into silence. Something had made them speechless. The two boys continue to stay still blankly looking at them.

"Mom, dad, are you angry with us?", asked Lucian. Angelo went straight to their room while Lysele talk to the boys.

"No dear, we are just talking. Don't worry, it will never happen again", comforted Lysele. The boys went to the sofa and watched television.

Lysele went back to the kitchen to wash dishes. Angelo went out of their room and called the two boys.

"Come here, Ace, Lucian too. Let's clean up and be ready to go to bed", called Angelo. So he cleaned up the boys and put on their sleeping clothes and sent them to their room.

Angelo approaches Lysele in the kitchen. He was staring blankly to her wife who never notices him.

"Uhm, can you forgive me?" he asked. Lysele was quite surprised to hear the voice of her husband. It seemed the first time he asked forgiveness.

"I am sorry too, my dear!", answered Lysele.
"I also wanted to apologize, it's just that I got irritated" she added.

Angelo held Lysele's hand and asked if he could help her clean the dining table. Lysele smiled after a long time that they have been throwing bad words against each other. They had already realized,

"We are already getting old, the boys are also growing fast", said Angelo.

"Yes, Angelo, we cannot afford to see us this way, always quarelling", answered Lysele. And sat on the table and held each other's hands. Unknowingly, the two boys were sneaking at their parents. They are happy to see them talking in low voices.

"Uyyy!", teased Lucian.

"Kuya, let's have a high five!", said Ace. The two boys were giggling hard at what they have witness.

"Ace, they are so okay now HAHAHAHAHA!", laughed Lucian as he was joined by Ace. Their parents approached them and held them in their arms. They lift them to their bed and kissed to sleep.

"They will grow in a happy family, aware of the pains and gains of life", promised Angelo.
