Here we are, huh... First day of school in a Witchcraft school, who knows I'll actually be standing right here―in front of the gate?
Here goes nothing then...
I inhale and exhale, I walked inside and saw a lot of beautiful girls with their own books, accessories, gadgets, etc.
Embarrassing because I only have my backpack full of food and books.
I saw a girl staring at me.
Oh, holy cow, she looks so much like the girl version of Harry Potter!
In surprise, she shook her head and went back on reading her book.
Heh, time to work on your social skills, Saori! Let's go!
I walk right beside her and approached her. “Hey! I saw you staring at me and I think it'd be perfect if we'd be best friends!”
“T-Too revealing...”
“Huh?”
“Wh-What you wore is too revealing...”
“Ah... You mean this crop top and skirt? Um... I don't have any extra clothes here so... I'm sorry if I ever ruined your eyes, haha...”
“N-No, it's okay... Here, I have a spare cardigan so... Please wear it until the end of the class... Especially in Witchcraft Class...”
“Okay! Thanks for the advice!”
“Y-Yeah, no problem...”
We were silent for a moment. I think of what I can do to cut the silence and I happened to ask her name.
“So, what's your name?” I ask, wearing the cardigan.
“Arvory... Nice to meet you.”
“Cool! I'm Saori! Nice to meet you too!”
“Japanese?”
“Half-Japanese.” I correct. “My father is from Canada, my mother is from Japan, so...”
“I see... Um... I heard that they use honorifics as respect? Should I call you Saori-san?”
“No need! Just call me with my name, I'm fine with it.”
The bell rang, I said goodbye to Arvory and ran all the way to my class.
What's first class, dang it...
I took my schedule out while running in the hallways.
Seriously!? Witchcraft!? You've gotta be kidding me!
I arrived in time, I was fixing my hair. Many of girls were staring at me.
“Excuse me, Yukihana?”
“T-Teach! I'm sorry!”
The teacher was legit behind me.
I ran all the way to my seat. I saw three books at the top of the desk.
Looks like this subject is gonna be hell...
Plus, I didn't even have the chance to get the window seat!
“Okay, class. I'm Mr. Anderson, your Witchcraft teacher. Now, for the old students, you may know me as the former principal of this school, so, my rules are my rules.”
He looks at me straight to the eye.
