WHEN LOVE HAPPENS

Chapter 1- making new friends

I groan,  as my alarm went off, am just pissed off right now, we are in a new house and do you want to know the reason my dad is always transferred from one place to  another, well this the third time we are moving and do you know who this is, yeah she's a girl who is kind, naughty but sweet, her name is Gabriella Anderson and that girl is me, am seventeen years old and am in my senior year.

I stood up from my bed to brush my teeth and get ready for my new school as I heard my mom screaming my name,
"Ella are you up already", "yes mom, be down in five," my mom knows how much I hate school, but she has never allowed me to ditch school for once except when am sick.

"Good morning mom, dad,"
"good morning sweetheart, how was your night," my dad answered pecking me on my forehead,

"good morning baby," my mom answered, I sat happily to eat my food, actually whenever am angry I don't get angry with food, I love food, who doesn't.

I helped my mom in washing the dishes since I still have  a little time before going to school.
"Good bye mom,"
"good bye baby, make new friends and don't cause any trouble, I love you,"
"I love you too mom," then my mom and dad say goodbye to each other before me and dad left.

"So honey, are you ready for your new school,"  my dad asked,
"no I miss my old school and am making sure not to  make any friends cause who knows maybe we'll be out here by the next three months,"
"hmm is that so, actually I talked to my company that am not transferring until you graduate to college so just make new friends and good ones" my dad said before chuckling when he saw my face,
"so no moving till I get to college right," I asked and my dad answered by nodding, "oh my goodness thank you thank you  thank you thank you dad," whoa am sure
'thank you' is tired of you calling it's name," my dad said making me to chuckle. "So take care sweetheart," my dad said as we pulled into the parking lot,
"thanks dad and no need to pick me after school I can just trek,"
"are you sure," yes am sure , "bye dad," bye sweetheart."

I entered the school and I was amazed, first of all, my former school is not this big, second not this beautiful, after admiring the hallway i headed to the principal's office,
"good morning sir," I greeted the principal, "good morning, are you Ella Anderson, here's your schedule for the term,"
I collected my schedule and thanked him before going out of the office I saw the map of the school and my locker number was pinned together with my schedule,so I followed the map and just as I was reading the map I bumped into someone as I raised my  head up, it was a guy with beautiful eyes that could melt your eyes, but trust me I don't believe in that,
"why are you staring at me like that can't you apologise,"
I was snapped out of my thoughts as the guy shouted, did he just say apologise,
"you saw me reading a map can't you follow another path,"I snapped back at him, he's crazy who did he think he his,
"I can just see you are rude, do you know who I am," he said,
"do I look like I care and if you still want apologies you can wait till next year," after telling him that I zoomed off not even waiting to hear what he wants to say, I just can't get into trouble just first day of school, I also noticed the way people were looking as if I just pulled someone naked. I found my locker at last sincerely the map was not that helpful,

"hi girl"
I turned around to see if the person was referring to me,
"is it me," I asked as I was confused,
"yes it's you, my name is Vanessa Hamilton," the girl answered,
"my name is Gabriella  Anderson," I told her smiling like an idiot,
"I saw the way, you talked back at Daniel and am impressed at least you are not like other people who are scared of him," Vanessa said smiling genuinely,
"so that rude boy is Daniel,"
"yep and bet you he's not actually rude, it only depends on his mood," Vanessa answered and just as I was about to ask a question before they rang the bell for lesson start, "so which subject are you having now," Vanessa asked,
"I'm having maths," I answered
"great we are in the same class So let's get going." Vanessa said beaming with smile like she just heard Harry Potter is in our school.

We entered the class and the guy I assume her boyfriend pecked her, guess who he was sitting with, Daniel, I looked at Vanessa confusedly,

"sorry Ella, lemme introduce, guys this is my new friend Ella and Ella this is Dylan my boyfriend, "
hi" Dylan said and I smiled,
"this is Damien" and he nodded
"you already know Daniel," he didn't even look up before the boys nudge him and he forced a nod, I so hate him,  great I hate someone just first day, congratulations. 

"Ella come sit beside me," Damien said patting the seat beside him, and I smiled at least he's nice not like the rude ass sitting beside him and the teacher walked in looking in his early forty and maths began and me answering questions correctly, i know you all are surprised, I might be rude, naughty but am very intelligent am not boasting but stating the fact.  Class went on and I discovered I have three classes with Daniel alone while I have other subjects with all of them. Class went on fast and it was school over so we all went to the parking lot.

"Hey cupcake, are you going home alone," that's Damien, "cupcake seriously Ami,yep am trekking," I answered
"Who's Ami" Damien asked looking Confused
"I never knew you were this dumb, your name is spelt D-A-M-I-E-N so I removed the d, e and n and that makes it A-M-I, do you understand now, kiddo and that's what I would be calling you now " I explained to him just like explaining to a five year old making the rest to laugh, yeah of course, apart from Daniel,
"I thought you loved me uh cupcake, at least give me a pet name like baby, honey, cute face, sweetheart" Damien said before blowing me a kiss,
"Then, I think buttface is better,"I said after I collected the kiss, then dropped it on the floor and stomped on it,making him pout adorably.

"Ok that's enough, I don't want to die of laughter" Dylan said after regaining his sense, yeah he was laughing so hard,
"I would have loved us to drop you at your house but we are going to our hang out house," Vanessa said sadly,
"thanks" I also said sadly
"Or do you want to come?" Vanessa asked, "sorry no, I have some work to do at home," I answered apologetically
"Ok bye guys" I said and they all answered me apart from Daniel who has been staring at his phone, I so hate him.
"And don't forget to text me or your little fine ass won't be there tomorrow" Vanessa yelled as I had already gone a little bit far. I just nodded and made a remainder to call her later, cause I still love my ass, well who doesn't.
