The Avengers Meet The XMen

Chapter 3

Steve Rogers's (Captain America) POV

 ''So, with out those glasses, he can burn anything?'' Natasha asked Bruce.

 ''Yes. By taking off those glasses, and opening his eyes'' Bruce explained.

 I don't know about these XMen. They have some amazing powers and they could really help us win this thing, but they could cause problems. We may not work well together, and they may not like taking orders from me. Though, I am not really in charge of them, just direct them.

 ''These dudes seem like freaks'' Tony said, ''I mean, he has metal coming out of his knuckles''.

 ''Are they worthy of working with us? They could make this thing seem all like a big joke, and I am not to be fooled with'' Thor said.

 ''They are, their powers could be an advantage'' I stated.

 ''This girl has mixed personality. Her names Jean Grey, but she is the Phoenix. Its like an alter ego'' Bruce explained.

 ''What are her powers?'' I asked,

 ''She can levitaate things and people with her mind'' he answered.

 Bruce was looking at a screen, watching what the XMen could actually do. Ther talented.......I don't really know what I am supposed to call them..........oh wait, mutants.

 ''Can you believe it? By her touch, she could possibly kill you?'' Hawkeye asked.

 ''How does she even have a boyfriend?'' Tony asked.

 ''Tony, enough with the personal questions. This is buisness'' I said.

 He can get very annoying. Just got to know when to stop him or he just won't stop.

 ''These people are strange'' Natasha said.

 ''And we're not?'' Thor asked.

 ''Only one who is really strange is Bruce'' Natasha answered.

 We looked at him, wondering if he was going to transform, but he didn't. Sometimes, you have to watch what we say to this guy.

 ''I agree, but there is someone in the XMen like me'' Bruce stated.

 ''Who?'' I asked.

 ''This guy'' he said pointing to the blue wolf thing on the screen.

 ''Thats human?'' Tony asked.

 ''Yeah. He once had monkey feet, and he found this medicine he thought would get rid of it, but it turned him into this''

 ''This is going to be different'' Tony said.

 Then the door opened and there was Nick Fury.

 ''There here'' he announed.

 And then the XMen walked in. A man in a wheel chair rolled in, with his mutants behind him. Seeing that blue thing, was kind of funny. He was like an animal in a suit. What do they call him?

''Beast'' said the old man in the wheel chair.

 I looked at him shocked. He could read my mind. Wish I had a mind sheild so stuff like this wouldn't happen.

 ''Avengers these are the XMen, and this is their leader Professer X'' Nick announced.

 Tony snorted and I shot glares at him. So disrespectful.

 ''Is something funny?'' the one with the claws asked.

 ''Yeah there is....''Tony started, but I interuppted.

 ''Tony''

 He looked at me and smirked. He didn't say anything, but I could see the claws one glaring at Tony. 

 ''That's Logan, Scott, Storm, Jean, Rogue, Bobby, and Beast'' the professor explained pointing to each of them.

 They were definetly a weird bunch. How are we going to get along with them? I hope they can cooperate, and make sure I am the Captain.

''So, what are your superhero names?'' Tony asked.

 I rolled my eyes. Always so immachure.

 ''I don't really have one'' Jean stated.

 ''Cyclops''

 ''Iceman''

 ''Just Rogue''

 ''Storm''

 ''Wolverine''

 Tony snorted. Here we go!

 ''What the hell? Really Wolverine?'' he asked

 Scott let out a chuckle and Logan glared at him.

 ''Yes really, and what is yours?'' Logan asked.

 ''Ironman'' Tony said with a silly smile.

 ''Like that's any better'' Logan mumbled.

 ''Anyway, I'm Natasha and my name in disguise is Black Widow''

 ''Bruce and Hulk''

''Thor, Son of Asgard''

 ''What kind of name is Thor?'' Bobby asked.

 ''My name and you shall not disrespect me'' Thor demanded.

 Logan smiled and began mocking him.

 ''I'm Steve Rogers. Captain America''

 ''What do you mean Captain?''

 ''Like the leader of the Avengers''

 ''Um, he's not really the leader. We just listen to his plans'' Tony inputed.

 ''And I am there Captain, but not Captain Cyclops'' Scott stated.

 ''Uh, think again'' Beast said.

 ''I'll leave you all, I'll be with Mr.Fury'' Charles said.

 ''Your acting like they're your children'' Hawkeye said.

 ''He is like a father to us'' Storm said.

 Charles wheeled out.

 ''Try not to kill each other before the mission'' Nick said before leaving.

 Then we were all alone. Looking at each other.

 ''Um, I could show you girls to your rooms'' Natasha said.

 Storm, Rogue, and Jean nodded, and they walked off together being leaded by Natasha. Could this woman get any better.

 ''What do we do with them?'' Tony asked.

 ''Stop it, Tony'' I demanded.

 ''So, are you going to show us to our rooms?'' Bobby asked crossing his arms over his chest.

 ''No'' Bruce blurted out.

 ''Aren't some of you sharing with the ladies?'' Tony asked.

 ''It doesn't matter. It's not like I won't be getting any'' Bobby said with a smirk.

 ''Oh I see you'' Tony said.

''You actually won't without gloves, she could hurt you by touching you'' Hawkeye said.

 Bobby looked defeated. He proably didn't need a reminder.

 ''Maybe we could find a medicine to allow her to be able to touch without touching people. To control her powers'' I said.

 ''Yeah. That could actually be a benefit to us'' Bruce said smiling.

 Bobby smiled and Logan just rolled his eyes.

 ''Now follow us to your room'' I said and we began walking out the hallway.
