Red Riding Hood and Robbin Hood

Chapter 5: Introductions

Red's POV
I was so sorry for talking about Robbin behind her back, she is my best friend and I never meant to make her upset.

We walk into the palace but before we could enter further, a voice shouts from behind us, "Red!!"

We both turn around and see a male putting his horse away and running to us. "Hey Red" he says as he kisses her. "Whose this may I ask?"

"This is Robbin Hood, my best friend who we haven't seen in forever" Red reply's as I smile slightly

"Robbin Hood, I thought Robbin was a boy"

"Why does everyone say that I'm a boy, it's annoying" I cross my arms

"Oh, sorry if I offended you, I'm Aaron" he puts his hand out as I shake it. 'I guess I'm getting the hang of it now' I thought to myself

"Hello Aaron." He had dark brown hair, eyes hazel and wearing really smart clothes

"So, you coming to get breakfast?" Aaron asked us. Before red could say something, I quickly reply, "oh yes please, I'm starving" I look at Red then away

"Aaron, you can't tell anyone else what I'm about to tell you" He nods

'What are you doing?' Robbin asked me, confused on what I was going to say.

'I'm just telling Aaron you are a wolf too'

'No, you can't do that...'

'It's ok Robbin, he won't tell anyone else, I promise' I look into her eyes then after a few seconds, she gives up and replies, 'ok, but don't break your promise'

I then say as Aaron looks at us, seeing the confusion in his eyes.

"It may be a bit confusing to you after the stories you have heard but, Robbin is just like me, she is a wolf too, but you can't tell anyone. Please promise me that"

He looks over to Robbin, then back to me "I promise" he says as he smiles and I smile back.

"Come on then you two, lets get you two some food" Aaron says as we follow him.

Robbin's POV

I follow on after them as I see them holding hands. I didn't think it was the time to tell her so I'll wait, I'm not even sure if she needs to know until the day she finds out.

Anyway, I smell meat, the smell intensifying the closer I approached where it was coming from. My mouth beginning to water

I follow them and as we enter further into the palace, we enter a large room with a massive table, chairs, a bright chandelier and to other people sitting down. "Ah, Aaron and Red, Nice to see you two this morning" the women says as she looks at me, "who is this beautiful girl?"

I smile slightly at the complement. "Mum, dad, this is Robbin Hood" I guess this was the king and queen so I bow, "Nice to meet you your majesty's"

She walks over to us and smiles "we have breakfast awaiting for your arrival, hope you enjoy it" she says as she sits back down. We walk over to the ginormous, birch wood table, and chairs where the food awaited

There was, bacon, sausages, egg, hash browns, black pudding, and mushrooms. I sit down next to Red opposite Aaron and the queen who were sat next to each other and the king at the head of the table.

As they start eating what was on their plate, I start to eat the sausages first. They were absolutely amazing, and I wanted more. I start to eat my food quickly like I normally would as my wolf. Red looks at me and nudges my arm. "Do you mind!?" I accidentally shout and everyone looks at me. I shrug and carry on eating.
