Getting into my favorite pajamas, I sit on the couch turning on a the tv, to watch a movie. Someone knocks on the door. Who the hell would be knocking on my door at this time of day. "Kar open up," the person says. Sighing I get up and go to the door, peeking through the peephole I see it's Jesse's girlfriend and some other girl.

"Tullie?" I ask.

"Yes now let us in, please," She says.

I open the door, and let them in. They walk into the apartment.

"Thanks boo," Tullie says.

"Why are you here?" I ask not trying to sound mean.

"Jesse said you might want company today, so we came over to take you shopping. But it looks like you had other plans," She replies looking at my outfit. I chuckle some before nodding my head.

"I went really hard yesterday surfing, then I went and did the training for the lifeguards today. So I was going to have a lazy day. But I can get dressed quick and we can go out. But who's your friend?" I ask.

"This is Mia," Tullie tells me. I eye the girl carefully, before nodding.

"Let me go get dressed quick," I tell her. Going to my room, I put on my light blue shorts, and a white flowy tank top, before going back to the living room.

"God you're so tan, and fit girl," Tullie says. I roll my eyes before smiling at her.

"I'm surprised I'm still this fit, after the accident," I sigh putting on my sandals.

"What was the accident? I heard Jesse tell Tullie once but never got any details. Sorry for being nosy," Mia says.

"Surfing accident. I got caught under a wave and was banged up pretty bad. Had a couple broken ribs, and a few cuts from rocks," I tell her. She nods her heads. Of course that was somewhat of the truth. My ribs had healed then they were broken again from being..

"You ready? You spaced out there," Tullie tells me. Nodding my head I follow them out the door, stopping to lock the door before following them down to Tullie's car. We all get in and Tullie starts driving. "Have you ate today?"

"Umm I ate a piece of toast before going to the beach," I tell her.

"Kar!!! You need to eat more especially if you're going to be surfing and out in the sun all day," She scolds.

"Yes mom," I mock rolling my eyes at her, even though I know she's only looking out for me. She glares at me before making a left turn.

"We're getting lunch before shopping then," She mumbles under her breath. I chuckle, she acts just like a mom and that's why I love her so much, other than the fact she treats Jesse great. He needs that, he needs someone who will love him unconditionally but also tell him when he's being an asshole.

"Where we going?" I ask, realizing how hungry I was.

"A small cafe, not to far from here," She tells me. Nodding my head, I look out the window. Pretty soon she's pulling into a parking lot, and parking the car. I get out of the car, stretching as I get out. My stomach starts growling as we walk towards the door. "Wasn't hungry huh?" She asks raising an eyebrow. Sticking my tongue out at her, as we walk through the door.

"Kar, put that tongue away, quit acting like Maxi," Jesse tells me.

"Holy shit, what are you doing here?" I ask after jumping when I heard him talk. He raises his eyebrow at me swearing. "You know I have a sailor mouth, you heard it in Bali, so don't be acting surprised." I sass him.

"There's the Kar I know," He chuckles. We all get seated and handed menus. "Don't you dare get chicken strips," Jesse and Tullie say together.

"Well damn, you guys are so cute you even talk together. But I'm not getting chicken strips, I'm getting their famous burger so haha," I stick my tongue out. They both roll their eyes at me before grinning. Some things will never change.
