Mr. D walked out, applause following him as he did.
"Today we have," he paused and looked at his note card, wanting to say her name right. Normally people wouldn't mind, but the chef for this month wasn't a forgive and forget type of person. "Thalia Grace."
An arrow shot out to meet him, but he stopped it with a wall of grape vines. "I said it right though!" he exclaimed.
"Don't call me by my last name." the girl growled. Thalia Grace was beautiful in a different type of way. Her hair was a bit longer than her shoulders and her blue eyes sparkled with mischief. She was wearing her death to Barbie t-shirt, black jeans, and a leather jacket. She was strong and unique. The crowd of satyrs, nymphs, demigods, and other friendly 'mythological' creatures, seemed to like that.
Thalia walked to the counter Mr. D was standing, her hair flowing behind her. "What do I do here?" she asked, putting a piece of gum in her mouth. "You cook!" he exclaimed, doing jazz hands and causing the crowd to laugh.
Thalia blinked once, twice, three times, before she burst into laughter. Everyone looked at her confused. "You really think I can cook? HA! That's dam funny!" she yelled.
"Oh..." Mr.D said. "I've never had someone who couldn't cook. Hmmm..." he looked at the crowd. "What should we do?"
Everyone started yelling out different ideas until a certain son of Poseidon shouted: "Eat things from Chipotle!"
"I thoroughly agree with Seaweed Brain." Thalia laughed.
"ONLY I CAN CALL HIM SEAWEED BRAIN!" Annabeth Chase, the victim-chef from last time screamed. Thalia rolled her eyes.
They ended up going out and getting chipotle, scaring the Minotaur dung out of the people who worked there, and coming back to hang out. Basically, it was a Mexican-Food themed family reunion, seeing as they were all extended family. All was well...until the first burrito went flying.
*cough Clarisse cough*
