Your POV

you knew it before anyone said a word...the sad look in your mom's eyes...the way the doctors shook their head....you knew you were going to die. 

it was unchangeable....nothing you or anyone could do about it....but yet you still felt scared. 

you couldnt....leave Nathan.....not when you finally found him....

someone knocked at the door. "come in" you called out. Nathan walked in and smiled...you were going to miss that smile soo much. 

"hey beautiful" he said....walking over and planting a kiss on your forehead. you laughed..."beautiful is hardly the word i would describe myself right now" 

Nate Laughed. "dont say that...you always look beautiful to me" 

that completely shattered you. you looked away..."we cant keep doing this Nathan" you whispered.

he frowned. "what do you mean?"

"this!" you said gesturing to us. "we cant keep acting like everything's ok...when its not...im going to die..Nathan and were just going to have to accept that" you said harshly...

Nathan's face stayed guarded. "dont say that Y/N" he said roughly..

"well?! its true isnt it?" you yelled. "im going to DIE Nathan...and theres nothing you can do about it you should just forget about me...im not important anyways..." tears were streaming down your face. Nathan gingerly placed his palm against your cheek..you looked into his sky-blue eyes.

"Y/N i promise..you nothing in this whole entire world..means more to me than you do...your the center of my world...and im going to do everything in my power...to keep it that way" 

"why?" you whispered. 

He smiled. 

"because...thats what people do when they love someone...they stick with that person...till the end of time...and forever after that"
