one.
THE FIRST DAYS
OF NEW WAYS.

"soobin... it's time for school! get your ass out of bed now!" i wake up from my beautiful dream to hear my annoying sister's voice, which seems to be very hoarse since it is early morning.

it's time for my third year of high school, which i'm the most excited about. i'm going to a new school, so i'm most likely to be the most popular there. i'm attractive, tall, smart, etc. not to mention my dimples. so why wouldn't it be easy for me to have everyone wrapped around my finger?

oh, i didn't tell you yet. schools in this area are the most sensitive about popularity and what role they have. it's not something that the school made up, but it's what the students inevitably created. this is the more richer area so you would expect more prissy students than usual. that was obviously no secret. and it's been going on for years. at my old school, i wasn't the most important at my school. i had some sort of reputation, but this one annoying senior took all of the damn attention away from me. but now, with this new school, i get to be the center of attention. everyone always has their eyes on the new attractive student. especially girls, we can never forget about the girls and their soft spots when it comes to this topic.

"yo soobin, what the hell is taking you so long?!" i groan as i finally get up from bed. i tell my sister to shut up and walk to the bathroom. i turn around from the door to see my reflection on the mirror. i smirk. i still look good just even from waking up! i quickly get myself ready and head out my bedroom to grab my things.

i see my mom cooking breakfast and look at me, "honey, are you excited to attend your new school?" i smile, nodding as my response. i was more than excited.

the school wasn't too far from my house and perfect walking distance away, so i finish my breakfast and start walking to school. it wasn't as big as my old one, so i assumed it had a little less students. which makes it even easier for me to catch almost the whole school's attention from what i've learned in the past.

i continue to walk through the school gates and  look around to speculate the students near me. as i expected, a lot of students seem like a try hard. but to my surprise, less people are paying attention to each other. this might seem harder than i thought. no... they obviously care about popularity and the standards here, but what if they are trying to catch the attention of one another by seeming like they don't care? i'll have to think about that later. for now, i find my way towards my first class.

i enter the door and right away, it's loud as heck. i fight the urge to cover my ears but goodness, where's your school manners? there's a lot that i'm gonna have to learn just so i can fit in to this school. i walk to an open desk next to this girl who's probably the loudest in the room. i really should've came earlier so i could've picked out another desk other than the one next to this annoying prick. unfortunately, the one i'm sitting on was the last one available. what luck i'm having today.

we start the class off by some basic rules and then it was time for us to introduce ourselves one by one. we must stand up and tell everyone in the class our name. after that annoying girl who was weirdly laughing way to hard during her introduction, it was my turn.

i stand up and face the class since i'm more near the back and greet the class in the most charming way possible, "hello everyone, i am choi soobin. nice to meet you all." and i slowly bow as i finish the last sentence. aha, i secretly smirk as i hear some girls squeal and fangirl in the back. i start laughing evilly, but in my head of course. i sit back down and the rest of the class finishes up.

the day wraps up more boringly than i expected. i thought this was gonna be a piece of cake, but no. i'm lacking in something. i'll have to try harder.
