three.
MAJESTICALLY
LISTLESS.just one day of me being outgoing for once in the school, and the next day hell broke loose. since most people have been spreading rumors fast, it seems like the word about me has gotten to my soon to be rivals. i guess i finally get to meet my competition for this year.
fast forward to lunch break. i grab my lunch tray with an assortment of food and right when i was heading to the table, the baseball team approaches me. and oh look- it's huening kai. they seem quite friendly, but i can't be to quick to assume things like that.
"oh hey! you're soobin? choi soobin?" one of the players ask. i haven't got to their name yet.
i simply respond with, "yes i am." and look around at the rest of the members. huening kai specifically. his arms are cross and- what? why does he look constipated? he taps his foot which signals he's impatient, but i don't know why.
"cool cool! so we heard that you're good at sports. are you interested in baseball? we'll be sure to let you join." one of them offered me a spot on the team, but what the hell. now people are just saying random things about me. since when was i good at baseball?
"uh.. nope. i'm not good at baseball actually." i nod. seriously though, if i were on the team i would've made them lose every game.
"really? that's fine, but if you really are interested in a sport then you could definitely come to us. our little kai over here really seems to recommend you!" and everyone turns to huening kai. who's eyes were already widen for once again, a reason i don't know.
"huh." huening kai squeaks out.
"weren't you just bragging about how everyone says soobin is so cool?"
"...no."
HUENING
KAI POV.yes.
ok let me explain. after soobin came to the school, everyone started talking and squealing over him. i heard some stuff myself and...
he seems so COOL.
they say that he's a master at halli galli. i freaking love that game and no one wants to play it with me. and... maybe he can.
i also heard he's great at cooking. and guess what, i'm not! so that's perfect! i also heard he's a god at sports. all of them. but...
after minyoung hyung asked him if he wanted to join the team it was like my heart shattered.
i was lied to for goodness sake! i would watch him from afar like he was my dad that left me without saying a word. i looked up to him! for like- 30 minutes though.
but maybe he still is good at halli galli?
"kai? kai...?" one of my friends wave their hand in front of my face. i snap out of my daydreaming and sudden heartbreak to respond.
"oh... hi?"
"yea hi kai, remember when you said that you looked up to soobin?"
OH LORD OH PLEASE NO-
the thing is, i wanna look cool too! soobin looks so majestically listless as he walks and talks. it's so...
COOL.
i respond back to my friend.
"what? no i wasn't. i was uhh... talking about someone else. my cousin." i break out of my somewhat panicked and constipated face to turn into a serious one.
"what, your cousin? isn't this the soobin you were talking about?" i have never seen him look so confused in my life.
"nope. i don't know what you're talking about." i turn my head to face another direction.
"hm. okay then. anyways, you have a nice day soobin! hope you have a great year here." and with that, we start to walk away. my god then responds back.
"yea, you too guys." and he flows away like melted milk chocolate holding his lunch tray.
so...
COOL.
just a little message, i kind of don't like how i started off the story? i totally understand if it's confusing. once again, i let my mind wander and let my fingers trail behind on the keyboard. if you have a question about the story, please feel free to ask!
