let me introduce you my dad, he is like 46 years old. he smokes since he was 15. he has been married to my mom for 20 years. they have 3 children. one of them was born 6 months ago, my little sister. she is a sunshine, she bought happiness to our family. two days ago i asked to him if he could stop smoking for her, for the baby, because she deserves a healty dad. he told me he cant, and he explained me why: you can’t stop smoking for others, your family and loved ones are not a reason for a smoker to stop. if you really want to stop smoking, you’ll stop for yourself, not for others. my dad has a heart condition and is obese. if he doesn’t stop, he’ll die soon. but he won’t stop, he may day from lung cancer and he’s okay with that. because he doesn’t wanna quit. he promised my mom and me and my brother and god he’ll stop a lot of times. he hasn’t.
if you wanna quit smoking you’re not gonna do it for your couple, your mom, your dad, not even for your sons! if you really wanna quit, you’re gonna do it for yourself. zayn said that several years ago, and it was probably some made up quote to make him look all sweet and cute. guess what? it was a lie. he won’t stop for the girl of his dreams. he will stop for himself.
