wc: 751 words, kind of a filler ;;

"but i don't really know you, but i'm pretty sure we've already met. and talked." heechul added, making heeyeon raise an eyebrow. "well...i kinda snooped in your phone."

"you WHAT?"

"i snooped in your phone because i was trying to find you!"

they both glanced at heechul's phone, as heeyeon remembered she left her phone at the shop. "and i saw something about you and me from five years ag—"

"unnie! it's seven in the evening, do you want noodles? heechul oppa could cook for you." sohye was at her bedroom door, looking at the two, as she unknowingly cutted heeyeon's statement.

"if i agreed," heechul quickly replied, nodding his head slowly. "but i'm sure you would though. after all, she's your friend."

"fact." heeyeon mumbled; looking at heechul before looking at his sister after. "hye hye, you can continue studying now. you don't want to fail your exam," she casually advised sohye, as sohye slowly nodded. "true, i'll get going now. thanks heeyeon unnie." she waved a little as she goes inside her bedroom again.

"so you wanted ramyeon?"

"to be honest i do."

"i'll get it for you, we could share the same bowl."

"okay," heeyeon nonchalantly answered, as heechul made his way to the kitchen, cooking her food. meanwhile, heeyeon saw a box of polaroids on the table. she took the box slowly and opened the box, which had polaroids. most of them were pictures of his sister or his friends, but then three polaroids captured her eye.

"i'm pretty sure you just stole my jacket from my locker."
"listen, i love you alright? i'm sorry for ignoring you."
"it's like almost 7:30!"
"heeyeon-ah! my yellow jacket!"

unfamiliar conversations yet familiar voices fill up in her head, as she stares at the three polaroids.

"ahn heeyeon!"

heechul's voice made heeyeon snap back to reality. she shook her head and put the polaroids in the box and closed it quickly, shouting "coming!". she enters the kitchen as she sees heechul preparing some ramyeon for her, as she looks outside; it was pretty dark outside even if it was seven in the evening.

heechul sat infront of her as he put the bowl of ramyeon on the middle of the table; as he hands her a pair of chopsticks. before she eats it, she asks him a question.

"i feel like.."

"hmm?"

"you really were my best friend."

as heechul was about to eat; he stopped, getting into a comfortable position before speaking. "what do you mean?"

"what do YOU mean?" heechul spoke quietly, quite frustrated. it was prom night; they were outside the venue, at a garden. "why are we even hiding here?"

they were sitting on a bench; heechul with a suit and heeyeon with a white dress. "look, this may sound crazy but i swear there was someone putting something in the drinks."

"male or female?"

"female," she responded. the drug dealer incident was true; according to what she saw. she saw a female with a bright pink dress, putting white powder in the drinks.

"do you have any evidence?"

"i don't have my phone, it's with hyerin."

"then how the fuck am i supposed to believe you?"

"well—uh...i don't know."

"well...i don't really know where to start but don't get mad at me, i snooped in the blue box in your table, and i saw...three polaroids. and i'm assuming you like photography."

"not really, i just enjoy taking pictures with polaroids." he responded, as he stood up and took two mini bowls in one of the cupboards in the kitchen and placed it on top of the table, giving the other one to heeyeon.

"do you remember junior high prom?"

"i do—well, not really. i can't remember who was my date."

"i think it was because you didn't have one," heeyeon answered, recalling the unknown memory she had with heechul. she took the bowl that he gave to her and took some ramyeon, eating it after transferring some to her small bowl.

"pretty sure i had one though. she was in a white dress and i don't remember her face nor her name, but i think i fell in love with her."

heeyeon almost choked at the statement—shocked. heechul then widened his eyes and handed her a tissue roll, as her choking slowly goes away.

"wait—why were you choking?"

"uh, i'm pretty sure you fell in love with me."
