My (FAKE) Mate

Hadrian's POV

"Hey babe. Wake up." I woke to Draco in my arms. He was turned around trying to wake me up.

I smiled at him and slid out of bed. "You do know it's Friday right?" I asked him.

"Yeah and we have classes." He said. I chuckled.

"Baby we don't have classes until the first Monday after we get to school." He face palmed. I shook my head and grabbed my cloths.

"Where are you going?" He asked.

"To breakfast." I said. I pulled on my shoes and went out the door.

"Good morning Hades!" Hermione and Pansy said.

I started laughing and they broke into giggles.

"Good morning beautiful lady's." I said when I could speak. They both blushed and looked away. I chuckled.

"Where's Draco?" Hermione asked. "He's getting ready." Just as I said that he walked out.

Damn he looks good.

"Hello handsome." I said. He blushed and looked away.

"Aww. I didn't know you felt that way about me little master." I jumped half a mile.

Sure enough death was standing directly behind Draco.

" Who's that Hades?" They asked at the same time.

"Really dude. Don't scare us like that. Girls and guy,this is death. I'm the master of death." I shrugged.

"Hi. You can call me Andie." He waved.

"So you have death following you. Does Uncle Tom know about this?" Draco questioned. I shook my head.

"Nope." I realized if we didn't hurry we would be late for breakfast.

"Come on. Don't wanna be late for breakfast." I lead them to the great hall.

I had been here with Uncle Sev a few times before school. Death followed us.

"Be careful with Dumbledore. Little master please?" He held out his hand.

"Ok so first off stop calling master. Second off what?" I asked.

"I need to talk to you." He said. I told the others to go on. I followed him to an empty corridor.

"There are things you need to know little master." He sighed and continued.

" James Potter isn't your birth father, but you know that. Lily and James had a fight one night and she left for a few days. She met Tom and he comforted her. In that little time Tom convinced her to leave James and become dark. They mated that night. Tom is a Veela like you. Lily is a vampire-werewolf highbred. They're mates. You were made that night. The next day she went to get her stuff. Dumbledore was there and erased her memories of her time with Tom. She made Oran that night. While you're twins,you have different parents. You're Tom's kid and Oran is James's. Tom doesn't know you're his child. He needs to know though. He remembers Lily and went crazy without her. And he felt it when she forgot him. You're a strong wizard. You're the only hope for them." I took a breath and spoke. "Is that all?" I asked. He shook his head. "I know who your mate is. It's someone you know. I can't tell you until you're twelve." I nodded. I felt tears form in my eyes. Suddenly strong arms were around me. "Everything will work out in the end little master." death whispered in my ear. I felt something within myself. I've never had this feeling,even with Draco. That's when it clicked. This feeling. I've read about it. Death is my mate. What about Draco though? I'm sure he'll understand. He is a veela after all so he'll have his own mate. I'm sure it's someone we know. I smiled knowingly at him and he looked surprised. "You figured out who it is, didn't you?" he questioned. I nodded. "What are you going to do about Draco?" I shrugged. Just then Draco came running out the door. "Hades! I think I found my mate!" I smiled sadly at him. "Who?" I asked him. " Theo Nott." I figured it would be him. "Are you ok?" he asked. "I found my mate too. It's death." He frowned. "Did you know all this time?" I shook my head. "No I just figured it out." He smiled. "I say we break things off." He suggested. I nodded. "Let's go eat some food." I chuckled and let him lead me to the table.
