Chapter Twenty Five

Andy's POV

Rye had messaged me to stay where I was but I didn't listen and I just pulled out of the park. I just need to see her already and hear her voice. I knew I should've never let her go. I heard a crash and next thing I know the car is being flipped in all kinds of directions. That was when everything went black.

Kate's POV 

"Hello is this Ms Fowler?", a woman said at the other side of the phone. "Yes it is, is everything okay?" , I replied not even clicking that she said Fowler, I was just praying everything is okay. "I'm the paramedic. I'm very sorry to inform you that Mr Fowler was in a fatal car collision along with Mr Beaumont", she said sadly down the phone. She gave me the hospital name and then I hung up. 

I walked backed out to the kitchen. I hadn't even noticed the tears rolling down my cheeks. At this point, Ben had arrived along with twins. "Fovvs, what's up?", Eva choked still in a bad way. "It's Andy, he was in a car crash with Rye", I cried. Mikey came over to me wrapping me in his arms. "Did they say how it happened or what condition they' in?", Jack asked worriedly. "No, all I know is what hospital he's in", I said not able to compose myself. 

"I'm so sorry", the boys said to us whilst hugging us. "They're your family too! I can only imagine how ye feel", I said. Myself and Eva decided to gather a few things for the boys that they might need. I look around his room, it looks so wrong without him. The bed is still unmade and clothes are everywhere. I spot his favorite hoodie and I pulled it over my head. It still has his scent on it. I grabbed his bag and put a few of his trackies and hoodies in it just Incase because I'm not giving up hope. I looked at the picture of Andy, his mam and I and decided to bring that with his stuffed dog hemnes. I picked up his guitar and I knew that if he's any bit okay that's what he'll want. I looked around the room once more before closing the door. 

"Okay girls are you ready to go?", Alex said. " I've decided that I'll stay her with Sammie and Shaun and let whoever wants to see the boys go.", Eva said. I can tell the real reason though is that she's afraid to see him in this condition. We decided that Ben, Alex and Mikey will go to see Rye and Brooklyn and I will go to Andy. I dreaded this moment since I got the call but no time is a good one to see your love in a hospital bed. 

I was sat between Mikey and Brook in the car and they kept reassuring me that everything was okay even if both of them were in tears. "I love him, I really do more than anything. He's the greatest thing that ever happened to me. In a lot of cases he's been the one that's keeping me going", I said trying not to punch something, "it's not fair, neither of them should be in this situation. I need him, it's just not fair". "He loves you more than anything as well. He's gonna pull  through for you because he needs you just as much", Brook said as we pulled up to the hospital. 

We hopped out of the car. I was trembling even thinking about what I'm about to witness. Alex grabbed my hand, "He's going to be okay! You're his strength". At that moment I truly believed everything that was being said. "Are you ready?", he said. "Nope but let's get this over with", I replied.
