chapter 3

   I opened the heavy wooden door of the class, went out, and then they slammed shut.The fire alarm suddenly and unexpectedly started. The shrill and loud sound took over the hallways.Fire sprinkler started sprinking water on student heads.The crowded hallway started to move as students screaming rushed outside, holding books and papers above their heads.They were runing ,but i just stod there listening to fire alarms loud noise and letting water drip down my hair.I didn't run.

    My eyes were caught on by a person i never seen before. Her hair was neo-blue and she was dressed all over black. She was rushing through the crowd.I tried to figure out who she was.I was so focused on this mystical girl.Then i felt a hand from the crowd grabing mine and pulling me in.I didn't see who was pulling me but this ''someone'' pulled me all the way to the exit.The school yard was full of people.My eyes hurt as the bright sun shone into them.When I recovered from the bright light,i relized Finn was the one that pulled me here.

-Are you alright?-he asked while hugging me.

-Yep, I'm fine.-I said and a shiver went down my spine.

-You are cold aren't you? Here take my jacket.-Jordan handed me his jacket.It wasn't dry but it was a lot drier than my clothes.

-Thanks.Do you know what happened?-i asked wrapped up in yordans jacket and still shivering.

I looked over at Finn. He was looking a bit jelous .Thoughts started to cross my mind.Did he like me? He knew we were just very good friends,right?Did i like him?No,of course not,we are just friends.

-The fire alarm started,i guess,-Lucy said and giggled.

-No way!-I said sarcasticly and tried to laugh,but because of cold and shivers ir sounded more like a hiccup.

-Are you ok?-Finn asked trough laughter.

-I already told you,I'm fine.-I said hardly keepimg myself away from laughing.

-Probably the chemistry class screwed something up,-Lucy said suspiciously looking at Jordan.

-No!-Finn stopped her-Today everybody got to take notes. No experiments!

-Yeah, that's true,-Jordan continued,-and when the alarm started we rushed out.

-Damned! All my notes are wet!-Finn was frustrated.

-Hey! Don't curse!-Tiffany strictly but friendly said to Finn as her bangs slipped on her eye and she had to bring them back.

-Ok. Sorry!-Finn quickly said.

-I'm more interested why were you standing there?-Finn asked worriedly.

I looked in his gray eyes. I couldn't lie to him ,or anybody from our squad.

-I ...don't know...i just..i think i saw something.

-What did you see?-Jordan asked, but just when I was going to answer the school door opened and the headmaster came out ,and tried to draw the attention of the pupils.

-Listen up!You can go home today. We need to investigate the cause of the problem and clean up the classrooms and hallways.The bus will be here at any moment.

A crowd of pupils started their way to a bus stop.

-Hei,Jess,we could go in and change. I could give you my sports suit.-Tiffany offered.

-Oh,yes, please!-I said remembering of my wet clothes.

-I'll go with you!-Lucy said following us to school.

-Oh...we will wait outside!-guys said.

     We always walked our way back home, because school bus on evenings always was full of people and nobody liked that.We invariably walked together.Our houses were near one another, and as a midpoint between all houses was a park.We used to go hang out there on weekends.

    We went into school. It was unreasonably quiet. The hallways were empty. The floors were wet and slippery.We went to the dressing room.My eyes were caught by the movement at the end of the corridor.I saw the neo-blue hair again, but this time they were shorter.It was a guy with same colour hair and wearing all black.

-What's wrong?-Tiffany asked when she saw my shooked face.

-I...just tought i saw someone.-I said without believing myself.

-That's silly! Everybody's outside.-Lucy confidentaly said and giggled.
