They made their way down to the dormitories, coming to a halt when they saw the portrait of Salazar Slytherin,
"You just have to say something witty or sarcastic" he explained to Harry. Whilst thinking of a perfect insult to let them into the room, please
"I'd like to kick you in the teeth, but why should I improve your looks?"he snarled, running his fingers through his blonde hair, the portrait swung open without any hesitation; Draco courtly lifted his arms out as a signal for Harry to step inside be for him, he did as what was expected and carefully trailed into the slytherin common room. All stood ajar looks of disgust and looks of admiration dissipated the room most where whispering, some were talking out loud but when Draco stepped in the room everyone had gone quiet; he had grabbed Harry's hand and led him up to the dorms each slytherin had their own separate room as they were the "higher class" students which made them have luxurious beds cover with velvet throws and a separate bathroom their curtains blocked light out and they weren't torn to shreds,
'I think I can get used to this' Harry thought, these dorm rooms seemed a lot more cleanly than the gryffindor rooms no snoring would wake harry up, he felt a tight grip on his waist he knew straight away that it was Draco because it wasn't harsh it was lovely, and heat radiated off it; making Harry feel butterflies escape in his stomach.
"Hello, I see you've picked your room?" The taller boy asked, knowing the question. The boy laying in his arms just nodded a look of comfort and gratitude poured into his expression.
They started to unpack, they didn't stay in the same dorm, but they knew they would be spending a surplus of time together making conversation and getting to know eachother more, Draco's room was considerably bigger than the rest as his father would have requested his son to have a big room. His room consisted of: a big bookshelf that had around 100 books neatly laid out on display to others, his bed was more grand it was a queen size rather than a double, on that bed was a fluffy blanket made most likely out of a muggle's wolf's fur. The head board was a green with diamonds in the creases and crevasses. A rug was on the floor matching his blanket everything put together have a grand feel. It was obvious that Draco was the more posh one out of the two, Harry went for more an 'aethstetic gay' look, he had the same bed as Draco but smaller, instead of green sheets his had white, and fairy lights littered the walls pictures of him and his friends hung on them; his desk was clear shelves surrounded it, accessories were carefully placed around.
When they were done unpacking, Draco took a set on his bed patting next to him for Harry to sit down, he walked over lazily obviously looking tired from all of their unpacking, Harry sat down abruptly reaching his arms out for Draco, he accepted and leaned in arms rapped around Harry's waist. But the cunning bastard Draco is, he tackled Harry to lie down on the bed; a small squeak was emitted from the smaller boys lips. All they done was cuddle for a while,
"Harry?"Draco asked,
"Mhm" Harry said lazily, he looked up into the grey eyes.
"Are we going to tell people that we're dating?" The taller boy queried
"I figured many people knew already"he said turning onto his stomach, Draco playing with his hair. A faint true was heard from the pure blood, before Harry knew it his eyes were closing again his face leaned towards Draco without another word, their lips attached in a sweet but passionate kiss, they stayed kissing for what seemed like many minutes until they were rudely interrupted by a certain Zabini.
"I'm scarred, I'm scarred!" He dramatically shouted gaining the attention of many fellow slytherins, he sauntered away not bothering to shut their door; Harry strained to get up, but Draco was latched onto his lap he finally gave up. leaning in the arms of him. Draco made a missy face but Harry kindly declined by sticking his tongue out like a child. They just laid together in comfortable silence, staring at each others faces, Harry exploring every crevice of Draco's face; the taller boy closing his eyes as a sign of pleasure, a small smile plastered on his face causing Harry to smile with him. Silence filled the room, only the swishing of leaves outside. Bang. The slam of a door filled the silence, many confused faces poked out of their dormitory. This was including Harry and Draco,
"Fight" a squeaky voice announced breathlessly "fight, outside" they continued. They voice was feminine, Harry caught a glance of the intruder which turned out to be Hermione ; her brown frizzy hair positioned in many places, making her look like she was just dragged in through a bush. Many slytherins followed her outside to see the action. Harry caught up with her, telling his partner to stay behind.
"What's happened 'Moine?" He asked curiously. A deep breath was took by the shorter girl.
"I don't know but, it isn't any ordinary fight. Not muggle, anyway. There's different hex's and jinx's flying around and it isn't safe" she explained, after a sharp intake of breath she continued on how it happened,
They finally reached the courtyard, debrief lay around the stone pavement, the left overs of a blast. As soon as they were close but not close enough they could make out the faces of the two fighters, one was a slytherin and the other was a gryffindor. More blasts shot around the courtyard, before one knocked Harry into unconsciousness, the darkness engulfed his visions; A slight stab of pain injected into his head as he hit a big rock at full force. Many gasps and sobs escaped many lips, tears started to roll down Hermione's cheek, making her eyes puff up and nose turn red. A tall slim figure entered the courtyard wearing a black suit and shined shoes, he looked around trying to catch sight of Harry; he caught sight of the boy lying on the ground motionless, a state of panic ran through his body as he ran full speed towards the unconscious boy as he reached him he had his arms in a cradle position ready to lift the boy up and take him to the hospital wing. Droplets of water fell down his cheeks, it was all silent. The fight stopped, no beams of light flew across the yard. It felt like a ghost town with people, thoughts ran through the students heads
What if they've killed him?
Draco carried him to the wing climbing up stairs ignoring the growing tiredness in his arms, he couldn't stop. He wouldn't. They reached the deserted room, a warm ness filled it the smell of incense filled the room, the welcoming feel trying to mask the horrors ahead.
