AT THE CITY HOSPITAL
Kartik is seen pacing in the corridor of the hospital. In one operation theatre is his sister, and in the other is his wife. It's just that his sister is unconscious and his wife....she is screaming in pain. They both are gonna deliver any time.
It's a premature delivery for Naira. But Kartik hasn't lost hope. Nothing can ever happen to Naira or the babies.
They are gonna be fine
This is the phrase which has kept Kartik hopeful till now.
Just then, Kartik hears a little cry.
Kartik turns towards the source of the sound.
The doctor comes out of Keerthi's OT with a small baby in his arms.
Kartik becomes mesmerized seeing it.
Doctor hand overs the baby to Kartik. Kartik carefully takes the baby in his arms.
"Its a boy Mr. Kartik", the doctor declares.
Kartik smiles broadly and looks at the baby.
He didn't know that any thing could be so fragile and soft.
He kisses the baby's forehead.
"Hey champ", Kartik says rocking the baby.
The baby smiles a toothless smile.
Kartik turns towards the doctor.
"How's Keerti doctor?", Kartik asks waiting for a reply.
"She hasn't woken up from the coma yet but yeah....she is showing improvement", the doctor declares.
"She has to wake up.....now that her baby is here....no body can prevent my sister from waking up ", Kartik says, his eyes blinking with determination.
The baby starts crying.
The nurse enters.
"Mr. Kartik please give the baby to me. I need to do some necessary tests and place him in the nursery", the nurse says Kartik.
Kartik nods, kisses the baby's forehead and gives him to the nurse.
Kartik sighs.
He then turns towards Naira's OT.
"Naira....You can do it", Kartik says.

INSIDE NAIRA'S OT
"Naira push!!!", the doctor says.
Naira pushes hard screaming loudly.
"Okay...the baby's head's out. Naira you can do it. One more push", the doctor says.
Naira gathers courage and pushes hardly....screaming all the way more.
A small baby's cry is heard. Naira smiles weakly but then blacks out.

Kartik hears a baby's cry from Naira's OT.
He smiles broadly. The doctor comes out with a small baby in her arms.
Kartik walks towards the doctor.
"Congratulations Mr. Kartik...It's a girl", the doctor says.
Kartik cannot take his eyes off that precious little thing in the doctor's arms. He keeps staring at her lovingly. His eyes fill with tears of happiness.
