Prologue 2-Nathan's side

I sat in my bed waiting for my mother to come in and tell me to wake up, though I already was. "NATHAN, WAKE UP BEFORE YOU'RE LATE!" My mother called up the stairs. "FIIIIINE!" I shouted back, groaning.

"Stupid first days..." I mumbled as I stood up.

I heard the bell go off as I stepped out my mother's car. "Damn..."I said under my breath, as I started running up to the side of the school to get let in by the Secretary. 'At least it stopped raining.' I thought as I rung the bell.
"Late again Nathan, just like last year." Mrs Brundy said, slightly as she let me in, walking me through the corridor.

"Jake wouldn't get ready." I lied, knowing full well that I was half to blame. "Alright, bye." She said. I nodded as a way of saying by.

I paused before opening the classroom door, taking a moment to figure out whether I should be normal or not. I chose not.

I kicked the door open and took a second to look for Rachel. I saw a cute blue haired boy sitting across from her. "Sorry I'm late!" I shouted, averting my eyes. "It's fine Nathan, it's not the first time." Mr. D said, sighing.

I chuckled and sat next to Rachel. "Hi Bestie!" She squealed. "Yo!" I answered. "Who's the blue boy?" I asked. I though I had knew everyone in the school but guess I was wrong. We turned to him, awaiting an answer but he seemed slightly freaked out and just whispered something unaudible. Rachel sighed, but quickly went back to being happy.

"His name is Adrian!" I turned back to him and smiled, "Nice to meet you, Adrian!"
