(Before I start, this story is based in America.)

Adrian's P.O.V.

Dammit, dammit, dammit, Dammit, dammit!

It's the first day of highschool and I'm freaking the hell out!

What if Nathan, Rachel and J don't want to be friends anymore because they realised they're too good for me? Or what if everyone ends up hating me because of how annoying I am?

"Adrian, get down here!" My mother shouted.

"Coming!"I shouted back, as I ran down the stairs.

"Finally, it's time to go."

~Time Skip brought to you by my gay~

"Bye Adrian."

"Bye..." I answered, suddenly feeling extremely anxious, while walking up the pathway.

'And why weren't you making me feel like this at home?' I asked myself. 'Uh, IDK I just didn't feel like it.' I answered myself sarcasticly.

I stopped by a weird triangle-shaped plant space thing, but started pacing back and forth while waiting for one of my friends to show up.

I could feel the tears burning my eyes as I tried to hold them in.

It felt like hours of me trying not to look like a freak but obviously it wasn't otherwise I would already be in class.

Then, just as I felt like I couldn't stop myself from crying any longer, Rachel showed up.

"Oh my gosh, Rachel you have no idea how scared I was that you weren't going to show." I said relieved, then started circling Rachel so she wouldn't notice he fact that there tears in my eyes.

"Yeah, I was worried that no one would be here when I got here." She answered, a relieved look in her eyes.

Shocking how much she's changed since middle school.

A little while after talking, Nathan appeared.

"Hi." He said.

"Sup." I answered.

There's always been some kind of tension between us since we met, but I just couldn't place it.

But, as I'm for somehow good at keeping eye contact, I did notice a sparkle in his eyes when I answered him.

"Hey Nathan!" Rachel said, immediately putting her attention onto Nathan as I stated silent.

They chatted away until J showed up.

"Hey Adrian!" He said, noticing that Nathan and Rachel were focused more on each other.

"Sup J."I replied casually.

"Seriously, don't call me that now we're in highschool. No one knows me here so I'm gonna get everyone to call me John. You know, like my actual name!" He said.

"Yeah yeah...J."I said jokingly.

"I give up." He sighed.

That's when the bell went.

"See ya." I said, following after Nathan and Rachel, nearly tripping on Nathan's shoes.

"Watch it." He hissed.

"Sorry!" I apolagised.

Then I noticed a short ginger haired boy.

I can't say much about his height though because he was still taller than me.

But I thought he seemed pretty cute, and he was long with a slightly taller guy and they both looked gay together.

Maybe he's gay?

'ADRIAN! God, they look gay and they're together so they might be a couple so stop trying to get a date... even if he has a nice a-' I stopped myself as Nathan came to abrupt stop, causing me to bump into him and fall back.

I could tell Nathan was about to turn around when I felt a hand on my shoulder.

"Are you okay?"The voice asked.

I turned my head to see the ginger boy from before.

"Y-Yeah..." I answered nervously.

He put his hand out for me to take and I gladly did so.

"I'm Zac!" He said smiling.

"And I'm Andrew." The taller, brown haired boy who was with Zac before said.

"Adrian." I said, looking up at them both.

"We should head to Homeroom now, see ya!" Zac said.

"Bye!" I waved slightly.

I turned back to Nathan seeing him watch them walk of intently.

"Let's get to our Homeroom already!" Rachel whined, Nathan nodding in agreement.

I couldn't help but hope I would see Zac again that day.
