Mom and dad are fighting again. It seems like that's all they do now, they're never happy. My mom says my dad works too much and doesn't spend enough time with me from my brother. We both have been staying at my grandparents for a few weeks now. It's just another boring Tuesday morning when my mom wakes me up in the early morning and tells me to come downstairs. I got out of bed and followed her down the stairs to find everyone else awake.

" What's going on?" I ask in a groggy voice. "Sit down sweetheart." dad says from the table.

" Fera I and your father have something to tell you. We both have decided that things weren't working out between us. "

"Mom what are you trying to say? Are you and dad splitting up?" I feel tears well up in my eyes.

"No no no, not at all at least not yet. I and your father are going to go to a marriage camp and try to work things out, if this doesn't work then yes we will be getting a divorce."

"Oh...um...ok. When will you both be going?" I ask in a small voice.

"That's the thing, we will be leaving in about an hour. Will be gone for however long it takes to fix our marriage. We will be back by the end of the brake to get you guys no  matter what."

"Wait so that means will be staying with grandma and grampa the hole brake? I'm going to dye out here there's nothing to do. It's already been a week since we came out here."

"Don't over exaggerate you will not die" This time its dad who speaks.

An hour later mom and dad packed there bags and jumped into the back of there uber. As they drove down the driveway moms head popped out the window.

"I love you both please be good, will be home soon" mom yelled out the window.

Grandpa walked out to the porch and called to us telling us breakfast was ready.  Grandma was standing over the stove flipping pancakes and moving sausages around a pan.

"Morning," I said in a small voice as I sat down at the table.

"Morning sweethearts. How did you all sleep?" Grandma asks never looking up from the stove.

"Fine, I guess"

"Well, that's good to here. Now whos hungry." Grandma walks over to the table holding four plates piled high with pancakes and sausages. At the sight of the mound of food befor me, my tough growled loudly. I heard gramps let out a little laugh next to me.

" Go ahead and dig in kids."

At that, I start shoving food into my mouth.

"Fera dear I was hoping you could do something for me later today if you have nothing else to do"

"Um... sure gramps what do you need?" I ask with a mouthful of food.

"My and your grandma were going to have a garage sale and we need someone to go through the boxes in the attic and bring down the boxes.

"Sure, gramps ill get started after I finish eating" I was actually really excited. I loved to go through old stuff to find new treasures.

After breakfast, I followed gramps into the hallway. As I was about to ask gramps why we were standing in the hallway he pulled a cord that hung from the ceiling and a wooden staircase fell down and with it a cloud of dust. I made my way up the stairs. I stood there in amazement at all the boxes befor me. This was going to be fun.
