Taehyung's POV

"Isn't it such nice weather today, Tae?" Jungkook smiles as the sun complements his already bright features.

Yeah, I guess it is nice. I prefer the darker, gloomier days but whatever floats your boat. Jungkook pets my fur as I lay on his lap while he sits on a bench in the park. I can hear the music coming from his ear device.

But, the sound of a human gasping causes me to jump.

"OH MY GOODNESS! HE'S ADORABLE!" A man stares at me in adoration.

"Geez. You scared me." Jungkook grabs his chest as he stares at the man, shocked.

The man's scent scares me because it's a sweet and pungent smell. I sneeze from the scent.

"What breed is he?" The man sits beside Jungkook and that's when I see Namjoon.

My head cocks to the side in confusion. He reciprocates.

"Umm...the doctor said he's never seen this breed." Jungkook answers awkwardly.

"The same for me! He said he's super healthy but he's never seen this breed before." The other man smiles brightly.

I give Namjoon a look of sympathy. How in the hell can he deal with such a boisterous owner?

Jungkook nods his head awkwardly.

"I'm Jin." The sweet smelling man holds out his hand. Hesitantly, Jungkook shakes his hand.

Namjoon and I huddle together to stare at the two humans. Namjoon tries to shake his shaggy hair out of his eyes but fails miserably.

"I think I've seen you before..." Jin rubs his chin, his pink hair flowing in the wind. "Oh! Do you live in those apartments over there?" He points to a barely acceptable apartment complex off to the distance.

"Y-yes." Jungkook answers quietly.

"SO DO I! LET'S BE FRIENDS!"

I bark in protest to his loud screaming. Good demon! He's annoying!

After about ten minutes of Jin's disgusting happiness tantrum, the two humans walk together as they lead Namjoon and I by our leash.

"My apartment is on the sixth floor. Come and see me if you like." Jin jumps happily.

"Uh sure!" Jungkook smiles awkwardly. "I'll definitely come."

"Yay! Nice meeting you Jungkook. Bye Tae!" He waves at me; I turn my small head away. Good riddance to you human!

As Jin and Namjoon get into the elevator, I give Namjoon a look of sympathy for what he has to deal with. He accepts my pity.

Jungkook and I walk back to his apartment, which is on the 8th floor. As soon as we enter, he runs to his glowing phone sitting on the dining table.

"Yes!" Jungkook jumps up and down with excitement. What's got him so hype?

"Oh my God, Tae." He picks me up and spins us around in a circle. 'Oh my devil' is much more preferable for me.

"I got into the contest. I got in!" Jungkook's smile is the brightest I've ever seen yet.

I howl in excitement for Jungkook. I have no idea what this contest is about, but at least he isn't crying.

And for the rest of the night, Jungkook's smile never leaves his face.

Extra Jin has entered and Jungkook got into a mysterious contest...hmm
