Taehyung's POV

"Hmm? I don't think I've ever heard of this breed." A man in a white coat grabs my paw.

Get off of me, I bark and growl.

"He's feisty. Aren't you feisty?" He tries to massage my chin but I move my face.

"So, is he okay? He's healthy right?" The man who rescued me, questions the old looking human in the lab coat.

"Yes he is. For a stray, his health is irregularly perfect."

Of course I'm healthy. Nothing in the human realm can harm me, well except if another demon comes, hopefully that won't happen.

"Awesome! You get to go home with me, puppy." My rescuer scratches my belly and my body fills with pleasure.

When he stops, I pout and reach for his hands. That felt too good for him to just abruptly stop.

"You're so cute!" The man lifts me up and kisses my nose. I lick his face back. He tastes like something sweet, I just can't put my finger on it, or should I say my paw on it.

Disgusting. I can't believe I used a pun. It's also disgusting how I am so calm about being a filthy dog. Damn this human for his charm.

"We just have to give him some shots and he'll be good to go." The man in the white coat grabs a tray with syringes.

Hell no. Don't inject me with your human juice, I'll be sick all day! I attempt to run off the table.

"Maybe another time, he seems to be doing just fine." My rescuer rubs my head.

"Okay Mr. Jeon, sign these papers and he's all yours." White coat man, grabs an enormous bundle of papers and rests it on the table.

Well, this is going to take a while.

"Welcome to your new home!"

I have no idea why I'm so excited. I run into the apartment; left to right. It smells wonderful, almost a feminine scent. The apartment looks neat and well kept. I've been discovered by a great human.

"Come here cutie." My new owner, calls for me as he sits on the couch.

I run to him and jump onto his lap.

"You're just too cute. My name is Jungkook, and I'll be the best owner you've ever had." My tail wags vigorously as he massages my chin.

So his name is Jungkook?

I'm Taehyung.

"Aww. You always bark in response. You need a name don't you..."

I just told you my name, it's Taehyung.

"How about..hmm." Jungkook takes out a shiny device.

I jump back when the shiny object lights up. What in the hell is this?

"Is this your first time seeing a phone?" Jungkook snickers at me.

A phone? What in Lucifer's name is a phone? These humans and their newly innovated inventions.

I touch the screen and the objects on it move! I bark in protest of the shiny contraption.

Jungkook laughs as I stare down this forbidden object.

"Let's see...." Jungkook's thumb moves on the screen. Then words show up. Where did the words come from!

"Dowoo, Lucky, which name do you like doggie?" Jungkook looks down at me.

I stare at the screen where an abundance of names litter. I find a name quite similar to mine and tap my paw on the screen.

"You like this name?" Jungkook asks.

I nod my furry head.

"Amazing, you can understand what I'm saying?" Jungkook's eyes enlarge in awe.

I bark and nod my head.

"Awesome!" Jungkook hugs my tiny body tightly. I'm not usually the small spoon, but under these circumstances, I'll let it slide.

"Since you picked it, your name is Tae."

Yes! At least I can keep one characteristic of myself.

I jump off his lap and run around the room in circles. My tail wags happily. This dog tail is shorter than my tail in demon form but it's doable.

Jungkook laughs and calls me 'cute' again.

"I'm starving." Jungkook heads to his kitchen.

He's starving? So am I! Damn witch cursed me before I had a proper meal.

"Are you hungry Tae?"

Yes! Hell yes! Give me some food!

"You must be really hungry." Jungkook chuckles as I grab his leg.

Jungkook gives me a bowl of brown droppings. I am not eating dog food. The stench is unbearable.

As a demon, my sight, hearing, smell, and taste, are all heightened which makes me incredibly picky.

"You don't want it?" Jungkook asks holding a plate that emits a delicious scent.

I shake my head.

"You want half of my sandwich?"

My ears flap as I nod my head.

Jungkook crouches and rests the plate he was holding on the ground. I sniff the sandwich, it smells way better than the dog food.

"All yours Tae Tae." He smiles.

And with those words, I eat the sandwich in a heartbeat.

"You're so cute Tae. I'm glad I found you." Jungkook pets my face and kisses my nose.

And I'm glad you found me, or else I would be in soaking rain watching obnoxious humans pass by me without a care.

"Come on. Let me show you around your new el casa." Jungkook smiles and walks towards a set of stairs.

I have no idea what el casa means, but nevertheless, I follow after Jungkook.
