🌸 Chapter Five - School Gates 🌸

A tear rolled down my cheek as I remembered Hobi. I wiped the tear away and continued my way to school. I was at the exit of the park, I saw a cardboard box with a really badly written 'Dogs for Free' on it. I'm a curious gal so I walked closer to the box and looked inside. Inside was, yup you guessed it, a Pomeranian. Seriously, what's up with me and Pomeranians today? The poor dog was staring at me with those big brown eyes. I kneeled down, near the box and started to pat its head.

"Awww~ You're so soft," I said out of adoration.

"Arf arf," the dog looked pleased.

While I was busy petting the dog, I got a glimpse of my watch and it was 8:36.

"HOLY COW!!!" I was jungshook.

The dog was also shocked by the sudden outburst.

"Sorry lil doggy, I gotta blast," I stood up and waved goodbye to the dog.

Now i was running to school as fast as I could but, little did I know, that the dog climbed out of the cardboard box and started to follow me.

I finally saw the school gate and ran to it but I suddenly stopped. The school guard was standing at the gate. Ugh, I hate him with passion. He always picks on me because I'm Jungkook's sister so he blames me for all the trouble that he causes. I slowly started to walk towards the gate. The guard was leaning against the wall, next to the gate.

"Ahhh, Y/N, your late?" He noticed me trying to sneak past him.

I stop to turn around. "Heh.....yeah?" I nervously laugh.

"Well say bye bye to your perfect attendance," he said while handing me a late slip to give to my teacher.

I nodded. "Thank you," I muttered bitterly.

I stared speed walking to class because I don't want to break the rules, which are no running in the corridors. In the distance, I could see my best friend, leaning her back against the wall.

"Where were you!?" She had an annoyed expression on her face. "I looked for you everywhere!"

This, fellow readers, is my best friend called Kim Ae Rae. She has been with me since nursery. We didn't really like each other, at the start, but our mums are friends so we got to know each other and that's how we became best friends. Really simple and clique, I know but we enjoy each other's company.

"Earth to Y/N," Ae Rae waves her hand near my face.

"Oh! Sorry, I spaced out a little," I explained while rubbing the back of my neck.

"Yeah, a little," she rolls her eyes, "Anyways, let's get to class, shall we?"

We walk to class, which was graphics. Our teacher was already there starting the lesson. Kim Ae Rae and I decided to slowly sneak in without the teacher noticing.

"Ae Rae are you sure about this?" I squeeze my head through a gap where Ae Rae was looking from and the door frame.

We were looking for a good time to sneak in but unfortunately some students noticed us, in the class and started to stare. Great, now my fear of public humiliation is coming true. So eventually the teacher noticed, that the students weren't paying attention anymore. She followed were everyone's eyes were looking at, this leaded her eyes on us. Thanks everyone.
