part 16 Leaving.

I woke up in the bed and a note was beside me. It said that I had to stay off my foot for a week. The crutches I was supposed to be using were leaning on the night stand. Which is oddly at least three feet away from the bed. I stretched to see if I could grab them. But instead I fell off the bed. "Ow." I said as Blade came in with a wheelchair. "O are you ok?" He asked. "Ya." I said. "Hey I didn't think you would want to use the crutches, so I got you a wheelchair." He said. I just nodded.  He picked me up and put me in the wheelchair. We stared to the kitchen. "Is everything ok, darling?" He asked, probably because I had my head in my hands. "Yeah I need to tell you something." I said. I must have looked devastated because Blade bent down in front of me. "What is it?" You know you can tell me. I won't say anything unless you want me to." He said. "I'm leaving after my foot is better." I said and Blade looked astonished and devastated. "What?!" He asked. "I'm leaving." I said. "Why?!" He asked. "Because you deserve better and I have to keep you safe. I can't lose you." I confessed. "What? Loose me? I will never leave you." He said smiling. "Yes you will." I said angrly. "All my boy friends have left me when they found out how dangerous it is to date me. You almost get killed a lot. You won't stay with me, I am just getting it over with, all the heart ach everything." I said. Blade gently grabbed my chin so I was forced to look at him. "Listen I have already seen and experienced how dangerous it is to date you and why do you think I stayed with you the hole time. Because I love you, so much and I will never leave you." He said. I will be honest that made me feel better and now my eyes where stained with tears. But I am leaving and that's that. I pulled away from Blade. "I understand, you want to leave so I won't stop you but you have to promise to visit." He said. I thought about what people had done to all my other boy friends. I just couldn't let it happen to Blade. I just can't. "Thinking back at what had happened to all my other boy friends. I can't just can't let it happen to you." I said with a lump in my throat. Then he started to push the wheelchair away from the kitchen. "Where are we going?" I asked. "You'll see." Blade said. I though for a moment that Blane was controlling Blade but he seemed alright. We went out side and up a hill. At first I thought that we were going to the forrest but the I saw a big stone with writing on it. It said Queen Rachel rip. I gasp. "Ya, I know that it's a weird place for a pep talk but I wanted to tell you something. Ever since you came and I first saw you I have loved you. But there was something about you that resented me. So I would come up here and pray. Then when I thought that you where the one who killed my mother. I was angry and blind. But I still loved you. Then I had a dream where my mother appeared to me and told me that hard times where coming and not to kill you. I was stupid and I didn't listen. So when I almost killed you I realized that she was right." Blade said. "The point is I don't want you to leave I will protect you for ever and I will never leave unless you come with me." He said. I stared to cry and turned. Then I saw a grave stone a few yards away. "Blade who's grave is that?" I asked. "Huh oh umm it's better if you just see it." He said and he push the wheelchair over to it. It was my grandmother's grave. "What is this? I thought that you hated my grandmother." I asked. "Well technology our kingdom does. Me and my dad, we know what really happened. Well I didn't know until Blane had taken you and me and my father were a lone. I brought you here to tell you but you never let me get to it." Blade said. "What happened?" I asked. "So instead of hating each other, your grandmother and my mom where great friends, they loved each other and the kingdom knew it because your grandmother was the only human on our planet. Then one day they were on a walk, when suddenly an eagle tried to kill your grandmother. But it missed and killed my mother. Your grandmother was devastated and when she came back with my mother's body she told my dad what happened. Then took her own life, my dad told the kingdom but they didn't believe him and thought that your grandmother had killed my mother. But since we knew what happened, we made a grave for both of them in honour of them and we put flowers on their grave once a week. I thought that you would want to do it." He said. Tears were streaming down my face but I didn't hid it. I just nodded and took the flowers and set them in my grandmother's grave. "But wait a moment eagles don't attack any thing bigger than them selves." I said. "You haven't seen the eagles here have you? Yeah they have a wing span of ten feet, there huge, there big toe talon is at least two feet longer than your body." He said. I still had tears in my eyes but I was nodding a long with him. "Oh ok shall we go back to the castle?" I asked and Blade nodded. So he grabbed the wheelchair and we went back. "Oh good you're here, something happened." Ron said. "What happened?" I asked. "It's better to show you rather than explain it." He said. Then he took us to a room and my brother is on the bed unconscious. I gasped. "What happened? "I asked. "There was an attempt at murder. By Blane and Ralloo. They stormed the castle demanding to see you and your brother said no. Then Blane swung a sword and hit him. So he fell and went unconscious. Then the guards surrounded them and carpeted them." He said and I moved closer to my brother. His heart was still beating. I put my hands on him and healed my brother. Then smiled and turned to Blade. "He'll be alright just needs some sleep." I told him. "What was that?" He asked. "I healed him. But I won't heal myself because I don't like to use my powers for myself unless it's an absolute emergency." I said when I saw the look on his face. "Ok." He said. "Umm hey can I cut in? What are we going to do about the attackers?" Ron asked. "Nothing let them go he will be ok we have no need to go after them." I said and when I saw the look on their faces. "Let's go to my office." I said. "What off- shh." I cut Blade off. He got the hint. They went outside and I followed. "Do you have a sound proof room in this castle?" I asked and they both nodded. "Ok let's go now!" I said sternly. We went to the safest room. "Ok, now I have a plan on how to get them." I stared. "Woe wait a moment I thought that you said we wouldn't go after them?" Ron asked. "Well I had to said something in case they were listening. Any way we are going to trap them and I will send them to the dragon realm my dad wants to give them a piece of his mind if you know what I mean." I said. "What will we use as bait?" Blade asked. I gave him a look that said I am bait. "Oh no I will be bait." Blade said. "But I'm the best person to do it, he wants me he will walk right into our trap if I'm bait." I said. "Exactly, we can't risk you getting killed." He said. "I won't I promise. I can teleport a shield, I won't let him get me. I will yell help if something goes wrong." I said he looked at me and I stared back. "Fine fine I can see there is no changing your mind." Blade said. "All right when will we do it?" Ron asked. "In one week, I will have a better chance of defending myself if I'm not in a wheelchair." I said and they both nodded. Then we all went to bed and fell a sleep.
