Part 28 Back to Earth.

(Lorelie pov)
"Blane you can't. My life is here now. I can't go back now." I pleaded as Blade hand cuffed me. Then he pushed me towards the ship that first took me and my sisters. Then he locked me in a cell and the ship took off. We traveled for about an hour when Blade came back to my cell and just looked at me. I was crying and I looked up slightly. "What?" I ask him. "Why don't you want to go back to Earth?" He asks. "Because my family is here now and I have no business in Earth." I said. He nods and leaves. I put my face back in my hands. Then my cell door opens but I keep my face down. "Why don't you want to be my queen?" I hear Blane ask. I never answer. Then the ship lands. I walk out of the ship and my parent well foster parents come running up to me. They hug me to death. "Lorelie are you ok?" My father asks. I just nod and we move to the house. It was late so I went to bed.
When I woke up it was time for school. I got to school and right out side I found my real owl holding a letter. I took the letter and decided that I would open it after school. I got to my first class and I snapped. I was all caught up in that class. Then some dudes came up to me and snickered. "Hey look it's owl girl." One of them said. They have been calling me that since they first saw my owl. "What do you want?" I ask. They lock me for a few minutes until the teacher came over and made them stop. Then a sharp pain went through my neck. It was how rulers of Olympus knew when their kingdom needs them. "Um I'm done with my work may I go to my locker. My kingdom needs me." I whispered the last part to him. The teachers knew about everything just in case. But when I told them I also threaten them because I am allow to just to help keep my secrete. I went to my locker and my owl was there. I opened the letter and it said that the council was in place and that I would not be getting as many letters. "Yes!" I said. "What?" I heard beside me. I looked up and saw that Eli had followed me. "None of your business." I snapped. Then a zap hit me. I went to the ground but didn't scream. "Blane what are you doing here?" I ask. Eli looks at me confused as I get up and look around. Then I see Blane right behind me holding his zap gun. "I came for my queen." He said. I glare at him. "For the last time I'm not your queen any more." I said. "But you could be." He said. "No I can't that would be against the law that you made and besides Blade is supposed to be king." I said. "What law?" Blane ask. "The one about not hurting a werewolf. Becoming your queen would get my family killed." I said. "What's happening?" Eli asks. "Oh look you have a friend." Blane said. I stepped in front of Eli and growled. "He's not my friend but I am willing to sacrifice myself for anyone in this school." I said. "And that will be the end of you. Unless you come quietly." He said. "Not with out a fight. But not here and we do this my way." I said. "Ok how shall we do it?" Blane asks. I chuckled. "With a game of basket ball. If I win you leave and you don't hurt anyone. If you win I come quietly. Deal?" I ask. "What's basket ball?" Blane asks. "A really fun game." I said. "You play basketball?" Eli asks. "Ya I do not at school but at home I do." I said. "Which home?" Blane asks and he chuckles. I stick out my tough. "Um Lorelie you might not want to anger the person with the zap gun." Eli said. "Eli I know what I'm doing. I'm not as dumb as you seem to think I am." I said. "Now go back to class and don't tell any one because if you do then this face will be the last face you ever see." I say and he nods then goes back. I turn to Blane. "Shall we?" He asks. "No after school. I will call you on this when I'm ready. Oh and while you wait go online learn about basketball and get a team of about five." I said as I hand him a walkie-talkie. Then he left and I went back to class. "Lorelie are you ok?" Mr. Daren asks. I nod. "Ok Eli told me everything." He said. I looked at Eli and he cowered but I just smile. As I went to my desk Eli came up to me. "I though you would kill me if I told anyone?" He asks. "Except the teachers their ok." I say and we part. I sit down. Then the bell rang and I got up but Eli's crew surrounded me. Mr. Daren was about to come over but I gave him a look that said don't come I got this. "What did you do to Eli?" One asked. "Me?! I did nothing to your leader because I respect leaders. Besides I saved him." I said. "Ha what do you know about leadership?" One asks. "A lot more than Eli. I have been ruling since I was born and I rule a lot more than he does." I said. "How? Eli is older than you by three months." Another asked. "Hey how about we lay off Lorelie. She has got a lot on her mind." Eli said. They all looked at him like he was crazy. "Thanks Eli. Hey do you know any good basketball players?" I ask. "I got five." Eli said. I nod. "Are you guys free today?" I ask and Eli nods. When school was over I got my walkie-talkie and called Blane. "Meet me in the new gym. If you follow that tracking necklace Blade gave me. Then you'll find me." I said and I hear Blane say ok and hang up. I get to the new gym and my team was waiting. "Hey captain is there any kind of wager?" Eli asks. I nod. "If they win I leave this planet forever. If we win I stay. But I don't really care because I will be fine with them. I just don't know the meaning of come quietly as in I won't go with out a fight." I said and they all just look at me. "But what about your family?" Eli asks. "Oh that's my foster family my real family lives some were else. But if I see you not trying then I will come over and smack the heck out of you." I said and then Blane comes in. "Are you ready to lose honey?" He asks. I roll my eyes and turn around folding my arms across my chest. "Not even close." I said and looked back. My hole team except Eli was cowering. "Ok change in plans. Blane me and you one on one. You choose from either basketball or sword fighting." I said. "Sword fighting." He said. "I was hoping you would say that." I say and Eli comes up to me. "But you don't have a sword." He said. "What makes you say that?" I ask. I double tap my necklace and say the words see ya sword. Then all of the sudden I have a sword. "Wait you carry a sword? We aren't allowed to have weapons at school. Do the teachers know?" Eli said. "Yes I carry this around. It was a gift from my grandfather before he died. The teachers know but they also know that I only use this as a last resort in school so only if it is absolutely necessary and I think this counts." I said. Then Blade pulled out a wolf pup and I see it's Lilly. Blane holds up his sword to her neck and I gasp. "Lilly! I though that I would fight you." I said. He chuckled. I growl. "Alright how about we sweeten the deal. If you win then you get to go and you get Lilly. If I win you come with me and Lilly goes to jail for the rest of her life." Blane said. Then Lilly bit Blade and he dropped her. Then she ran to me. I dropped my sword and fell to my knees as she ran into my lap. I squeezed her. "What's so special about a wolf pup?" Eli asks. "Clearly Lorelie hasn't told you anything." Blane says. "And I intend to keep it that way." I say as I get up. "Way should I go with you any way? Remember when I needed you most and you just asked if I was going to hurt your people too and then you rejected me. That's not how a king acts. A king looks after his people their hopes and dreams, he helps his people. A king doesn't break his own law. A king he has to be willing to sacrifice himself for the well being of his entire kingdom and every single person in that kingdom." I said and Blane's crew seemed to be coming out of a spell. "Blane. Why would you put your own brother under a spell?" Blade asks as he hand cuffs Blane. Then Blade walks up to me. "What was the last thing too happen?" I ask him and he smiles. "You told Blane how a king should act and undid the spell we were under." Blade says. I hug him. "I missed you." He whispers in my ear. "Well will you be my queen?" He asks as he grabs my chin so I was forced to look at him. "You know I can't." I said pulling away. He looked hurt. "Blade I wish I could but oh I don't know how to explain it." I said. "Well before you decide let me tell you what I heard. They are planning to kill you at the wedding and give your body to the god they worship, Aries." Blade said and I look at him surprised. "Really?" I ask and he nods. "Oh and if you don't want to be my queen then I will leave you here seeing that you have your sister back." He said. "Oh how's Luna?" I ask. "She is now queen and I think she is doing a wonderful job. Oh we are no longer at war with the wolves." Blade says. "Um could I think about becoming your queen?" I ask. "I can give you a week. Ok?" Blade says and I nod. "Ok. Come on Lilly we're going home." I said. She runs to me and jumps in my arms. Blade pets her. "I'm sorry for almost killing you." He said and she liked his hand. "I do believe that she forgives you." I said. Then he says good bye and he takes the ship back to their planet. Blade was now king and I had a decision to make. "Wait what just happened?" Eli asks. "That is none of your concern but if you any if you tell any one what happened then my face will be the last face you ever see. I will tell the teachers." I said and they all nodded like they were scared. I turned and went home. When I got there I went to bed. I transformed into wolf form and slept with Lilly cuddling me. I woke up just in time for school I had called the principal and asked if Lilly could come with me as wolf and that she won't be a problem if she can. That she will sit quietly and play with a quiet toy that makes it so she can't make a noise. He said that she can. So I walked down the hall to my first class with Lilly at my heels. Then I pick her up so she doesn't get trampled. We got to class and I went up to Mrs. Lockhart. "Mrs. Lockhart, I assume the principal has told the teachers about my sister Lilly?" I ask. "Yes he did. Now your sure she won't make a noise?" She asks. "Yes ma'am I took her voice away just for school and only I can give it back. It doesn't hurt her it's just like she has lost her voice and I will have an invisible force field around her just for safe measures and none of her toys have any noise to them." I say. "Ok well today is a free day I think all the teachers are doing this so if she makes a noise today it's fine. Today is a test day. So if she makes a noise today just improve or strengthen your spells." Mrs. Lockhart says. I nod and go to my seat. As I am doing my work the teacher comes up to me. "Lorelie will she be out?" She asks. "Yes ma'am but the only people she trusts are you and I so she will either be in my purse by me or by you. Plus I have everything she could need or want in my purse." I said. "So she won't bother the other students?" She asks. "No ma'am, if she doesn't trust someone then she won't let them touch her or even get near them." I say and she nods. Then it was time to begin class. "Ok class today for reasons I can't tell you, we will be watching Flowers for Algernon. So sit in your seats and you can talk but keep it down because someone is probably watching the movie." Mrs. Lockhart says. Then she starts the movie. Then Lilly jumps in my lap. I pet her a little and gave her a treat. There is a boy in my class his name is Robert and he has been picking on me since Eli and his crew stopped. Then he saw Lilly and gasp. "Why do you have a dog?" He asks me. "One she's wolf and two because I can't leave her at home any more after what happened yesterday." I said. Then he got up and went to the teacher. He told her something and she declined him. So he came back to his seat. Then I grab Lilly and get up. I was about to go to the teacher but then a hole was blown in the wall. Then Blaze jumps in holding a sword. "Hey sweetheart." He says. I put Lilly down and she runs to Mrs. Lockhart. She picks Lilly up. "How did you find me?" I ask. "By hacking into the tracking device in your necklace." Blaze said and I look down. I sigh and rip the necklace off. Then I destroy it. "You want to do this here now? Then let's do this." I say. "You left even though you knew what would happen." Blaze says. "Ugh I didn't want to leave. Blane forced me. Do you think I want to live where I'm a nobody where I have to hide constantly in fear because of what I am. Where I can't ask for help when I need it. Or do you think that I want to live with my family where I'm loved and I can ask for help and I don't have to hide because if what I am." I say. "Just think about that and as soon as I can get my sister back where she belongs then you can take my life. Come on Lilly." I say and she runs to me. I pick her up and go to my locker. I open it and get what I need. Then I close it and lean on it then I side to the ground. I begin to cry. My face in my hands. Lilly crawls into my lap. "What did you mean by hide what you are?" I hear from above. I look up slightly and see that my class.followed me. "Oh it's you. I can't tell you that. Sorry." I said. Eli looked disappointed. Then Lilly barked. "No Lilly I'm not going to do that. I told him that he could take my life and that's just what's going to happen." I say. "You understood her?" Eli asks. I nod. Then the vice principal Mr. Mike came up. "What's going on here?" He asks as he kneels down beside me. "Oh Lorelie are you ok?" He asks. I nod. "Hey there is someone here to see you. He says that he is the alien king." Mr. Mike says. Then I suddenly look up. "Blade. Please take me to him." I say and get up. He leads me to his office and I see Blade standing there smiling. I walk up and knelt down to him. "Oh get up. You don't have to do that you're my friend." He said and I get up. "So will you be my queen?" Blade asks. "Um I still don't know. I mean we just got attacked so I just don't know." I say. I felt like I had let a friend down. I looked down. He grabs my chin and lifts it. "Don't freak out. I can give you one day and no more. But I'm not going to force it on you. I will come back tomorrow and I will meet you at your locker at 2:30." Blade says. "Perfect I should be here a few seconds after that." I say. "Could I walk you to your ship?" I ask. Blade nods and I take his hand. We walk out and my class was harassing Lilly. "Touch her again and I'll have you sent to jail." Blade growled and they looked at him confused. "Blade they don't know any thing it's only the teachers." I say and I pick Lilly up. She was trembling. I cradle her and she calms down. I go to Blade. He pets her and I take his hand. "Is this the same guy that almost kill the wolf?" Eli asks. "Yes but there was a complication at the time." I said. "Oh that was me. How many times did I almost kill Lilly?" Blade asks. "Just the once. Although you did almost burn me a live." I teased and he looked embarrassed. "Don't worry about it I know that you would never do that." I said as I put my head on his shoulder. We walked to his ship and said goodbye. Then Blade kissed me on the cheek and left. I went back inside. "What was that about?" Eli asks. "Haven't I told you that I can't tell you anything." I say and went to the teacher. "I'm so sorry about what happened. I will fix the wall later." I said and she smiled. "That is very kind of you. But I am just glad no one got hurt and that man is gone." Mrs. Lockhart says. I smiled and fixed the wall with magic. I pick Lilly up as the class comes in. I sit down and we watch the rest of the movie. Then I went home and then after I told my parents what had happened I went to bed with Lilly.
