Killua's POV:

"Hold still..." I told Alluka.

Alluka kept on swinging the fishing rod. Maybe he's bored with what we are doing. Today is his 15th birthday and we have been travelling the world for the last eight years after Gon and I separated ways.

"You need to watch closely...if your line moves and starts to pull...then you caught something..." I reminded Alluka of what basic I know of fishing and he seems to be lost again in his own thoughts.

"Does it make any sense?" I asked him while looking at his very sheepish expression.

After going through the borders of Nepal last month, Alluka and I both decided to spend his birthday fishing and here we are. I seem to be the only one enjoying this.

I'm still true to my promise of protecting Alluka from the people who wants to use him including our own family. They never accepted her because of her ability.

Alluka, unlike me and my other siblings, is very human. She has no battle skills whatsoever that would keep her alive in a fight. She is a vulnerable civilian. However, what makes her different is her wish-granting ability that is quite tricky..

Whoever wishes to her gets what they want in exchange of something really precious....a life. That is the condition my family knows.

Our family finds her gift really threatening but advantageous to our business. They'd like to use him as tool but I don't like that so I took him away. Besides, we are the only ones treating each other like family.

I am actually the only person who can ask Alluka for a wish without any exchange. That is the condition I'm keeping as a secret. If my brother Illumi learns about this, he will exhaust all means to control me so he can make use of Alluka.

"Aaaahhhhhh...." Alluka yawns so lazily while stretching his legs. We've been sitting on this lake-side for almost two hours and we haven't caught anything. We're not big fans of fishing. Why are we even here.

"Onii-chan! Let's go back to the cabin." Alluka requested.

"Don't you want to catch a fish?" I asked him, hoping he'd consider another thirty-minutes.

It would really be a bummer to leave without catching anything.

"I really feel sleepy" he remarked.

He stared at me lethargically and I see how droopy his eyes are. So, yes we packed up and went back to the cabin.

Days went by and I have observed that Alluka's sluggishness grew even more. His sleeping hours took longer than usual. He started eating less and lost a great amount of weight in a week.

At first, I thought it was something about adolescence but I cannot remember undergoing anything like this when I was fifteen.

My worrying over Alluka led me to contact Gon. I grabbed my phone and checked on his number.

Eventhough we're far apart, Gon and I never lost contact with one another.

Looking after one another has been a part of us and no distance can ever break that. Some call it Bromance, we call it friendship.

Though it has been awhile since we last had our conversation.

Ringgggggg.....

Ringggggg.....

Then Gon picked the call.

"Hi Killua!" He greeted me so lively. Gon has always been full of life and energy. Even without seeing him, I know he's doing fine.

"Gon.." I replied with a little smile drawn on my face upon hearing his voice.

"How are you Killua? Long time no talk!" he said.

"Not so good. I think Alluka is sick" I told him gravely.

"I'm sorry to hear that. What happened to him?" his voice shifted to a serious tone upon telling him about my brother.

"He has been sleeping alot more than the usual. He's lost his appetite and alot of weight in just a week.." I told him.

He might have felt the worry in my voice because the atmosphere suddenly changed as we talk.

"Let's bring him to Leorio!" Gon suddenly suggested.

Given Alluka's situation and her ability to grant wishes, I just can't let anybody check on him. I'm quite sure that Gon is aware of that. Aside from my family, only Gon and I are the ones knowledgeable of Alluka's gift. Moreso, this ability salvaged Gon's life after his near-death experience fighting Neferpitou, so I can never blame Gon if he's as worried as I am since he feels indebted to Alluka.

"Okay...I guess that's our best option"

I said.

"We need to bring her to York New City. It's where Leorio is working right now." he added.

Gon and I decided to meet at York New City as soon as we arrive. Hopefully, we get immediately to Leorio.

I haven't really had news about that old geezer for years. He might have been so caught up with his medical career. But it doesn't change the fact that he tried to play the fatherly role on us when Gon and I were teenagers. He's always gonna be the old and funny guy that I've been friends with and I do feel glad that I will be meeting him and Gon.

Leorio doesn't have any idea about Alluka's capability, but if it's necessary for him to know then I will tell him.

Recounting all the experiences we had before, Leorio is a person to trust..
