Killua's POV:

That evening when Stefan left, I couldn't even get myself to speak anymore.

"Killua are you okay?" Gon tries to pacify me with his words of encouragement but I'm not sure if they are sinking into me.

A few weeks ago, when Leorio said that Alluka isn't sick of anything, it came to me that his ability might be the cause of his slow deterioration, however I was not so sure.

When Leorio advised me to seek for a second opinion,  I was clearly adamant.

Although, I don't think about it, but what if Leorio was wrong, what if Alluka is really sick.

And psychiatric assessment was way extreme for me to consider, but I want to convince myself that it's not about his capability to grant wishes that is making him sick. Anything just to keep my brother okay.

Ending up with the same finding for the second time around was totally crazy.

Looking after Alluka for eight years has taught me a lot of things. He is my brother and he's important to me. I just feel so pissed that I can't do so much for him right now.

My mind's all messed-up. I couldn't even bring myself to touch the food Leorio and Gon tried to prepare for dinner.

"The food will get cold, and wouldn't taste as good when it's warm."Leorio tried to remind me. But I don't really have the appetite to take down anything.

Looking at Alluka, sleeping on the sofa, I felt a stab on my chest. It has been the fourth time he is sleeping today.

"You need to tell me something I don't know if you wanna get down to the bottom of this?" Leorio said while he's digging on the food he's eating.

Gon stared at me, waiting for me to speak up.

"Killua...---" Gon tried to speak but I cutted him.

"Alluka...he..." I stammered.

I can't even start explaining what Alluka can do, and I'm not sure if I'm ready to tell.

Then suddenly, the house door facing the beach opened. Cold sea breeze got inside, a slender woman, with a long brown wavy hair entered the living room.

My heart pounded heavily as she looks familiar though I'm unsure.

Have I seen her before?

She is averagely tall, with her long slender legs like of a runway model. Her skin looks so fair and glowing.

I suddenly felt my insides growling thinking about it.

Looking at her, my heart skips a bit. With her brown eyes so deep and longing, her tinted lips shut closed however inviting...she's a total package.

"Where have you been lately?" Leorio suddenly blurted and the moment was gone.

"Around" she replied while removing her high-heeled shoes at the door step.

I saw Gon staring at her. He might have been also stunned with how attractive the woman is.

But Leorio's talking to her so casually. Could she be...

"Lira.." Leorio said...

"these are my friends Gon and Killua." he continued.

Lira, as what Leorio called her, paced towards us. She looked at me straight to the eyes.

"I know, I actually met him at the board room a few weeks ago. He was looking for you." then she sat at the dining table with us, infront of me.

She was actually referring to me. She was the woman in the dark.

Seeing her upclose, I felt a drop of my cold sweat rolled down the side of my face. She is breathtaking and thinking about it, I felt blood rush all over my face and she looked at me again as if she have heard what I was thinking.

"Hey guys, she's Lira and she lives here too." Leorio tried to introduce her to us.

Lira doesn't seem to be so conscious with men around her, because she just started munching and crunching food all the way without hesitation the moment she sat down.

"You seem to be hungry..." Gon remarked while looking amazed at her.

She just looked at him and nodded. I feel kind of annoyed that she doesn't say a lot when Leorio kept on filling her with various information.

When she was told about the reason why Gon, Alluka and I are in York New City. She just looked at Alluka sleeping on the sofa and said nothing.

Dinner ended and we haven't heard anything, not a word from her. She just went directly to her room.

"Don't mind her a bit. She's actually kind. She's just like you and me, tired." Leorio explained and faked a chuckle.

What that Xander guy mentioned about Lira could be true. Maybe that's the reason why she acting like that... I told my self. But why should I care when my hands are actually full of my own issues.

I picked up Alluka from the sofa and brought him to our room.
