"Sheesh, Dad, why did you choose now out of all the days to camp?" An annoyed voice complained.
"Now now Jason, me and your mom use to always camp out in these very woods," an over excited voice enthused.
"Dear come and look at this," a feminine voice ranged.
The older man rushed over to his wife as she watched her youngest child play with a winter bunny.
"If I had my phone, I'd take a picture," he muttered with a soft gaze.
"You know, I still can't believe you brought a three-year-old on this trip," Jason stated loudly.
"It'll be fine; we'll all watch him," their mother said as she watched the three-year-old boy chase after the bunny.
"We'll set up camp here," the oldest man ordered.
"When will we eat? I'm starving," Jason complained once more.
Before they realized it, the snow was getting heavier, and the wind made it hard to see in front of them.
The three-year-old tripped over the ever-growing snow as he chased after the bunny, but he soon lost sight of the white bunny that seem to blend in with its surroundings.
His mother called out as she followed him, continuously trying to catch up with him, but the crazier the snow got, the more challenging seeing was.
"Dad, where's mom?"Jason questioned as he looked around for both his brother and mom.
"Sarah!" He shouted while his son followed.
"Aiden!" Jason called out.
"Mom!" Jason called out once more as he trekked close behind his father.
She fell to her knees as everything around her seem to blend together.
Tears fell down her cold, pale cheeks as she realizes he could be buried under the snow.
"Jackson!" She hollered as she dug where she sat.
"Dad, I hear, mom!" Jason shouted as he tugged on his father's arm.
She continued to holler and shout as she desperately dug through the snow.
Both her son and husband found her digging, as they stared down at her, afraid to ask the question.
"Sarah, get up," he tugged on her arm.
"Where's my baby, where's Aiden! We have to find him," she cried as she clung to his coat.
Jason stared ahead of him, barely able to see as he squinted due to the falling snow and harsh winds.
"I'll go look; you two go back to the tent!" Jackson ordered as he delves deeper into the woods.
It was getting late, and the temperature was dropping fast.
A toddler out here alone wouldn't survive.
"Aiden!" He continues to call out for him.
A piercing howl broke through the noisy blizzard.
"Great, just what we need, a pack of wolves" Jackson sighed as he used his arm to block the harsh winds.
Jackson reluctantly turned back to where his family was and temporarily called off the search.

Back at the camp, Jason sat beside his mother while rubbing circles around her back.
"Dad will find him, I'm sure of it," Jason mumbled with a comforting tone.
"He's cold, alone, and probably scared- We have to find him," she sobbed as she worriedly bit on her thumbnail.
After a long howl was heard between them, she grew more anxious as the night was getting closer.
She stood up and started to pace in the tent, where she awaited news of any kind.

The small toddler struggled in the already building snow and harsh winds that made it hard for even an adult.
He started to cry as he fell face-first into the snow; the baby noticed he was alone and screamed even louder.
Instead of getting his family's attention, he got the attention of something far more dangerous.
The howls of wolves were closer than they were before.
Being three, he didn't know the threat they were, or the things they could do.
He cried for help, and that cry lured them even closer to him.
After 30 minutes of crying, a pack of wolves appeared from the snow-covered trees.
One after another, they trotted towards the three-year-old and sniffed him.
"Doggies," he muttered before falling unconscious.
Each of the wolves circled around him curiously.
A black wolf cut in between the younger wolves as he used the hood of the coat covering him to pick the toddler up.
Afterward, the rest of the wolves followed as the black wolf went back to the den.
