Two weeks later they were sitting in the back seat of James' truck as they headed to Nashville. James and Bryan brought Bucky's Aunt Lisa cause she was a lawyer. They pulled up to the place and they grabbed each other's hands. They walked in and told the receptionist and she let Mr Franklin know that they were here and he came downstairs. "Mr James Barnes and Ms Amelia Barnett it's lovely to finally meet you two."

"It's very nice to meet you Mr Franklin." Amelia said

"It's very nice to meet you sir." Bucky said

"Follow me.' he said

They went into a recording studio and he said "My boss will be in a few minutes. He couldn't believe that two 16 year olds had such stage presence and control so I have some songs set up for you two to sing together in that very studio behind you. Don't be nervous I was at your show for the 4th of July when ever there is a festival I'm sent out to find talent. Bobby Baker let me see your submission tape after that and gave me your numbers to get ahold of you."

"Mr Franklin I'm ready for you to show me what you want me to see." a grey haired guy said

"Mr Kingston this is Amelia Barnett and James Barnes. They are the two teenagers I told you about." Mr Franklin said

"Oh right.. well let's see what they have that has you so excited."

Robert showed them how to get into the booth and put the headphones on. The first song that played in their ears was "Back To You" by Alex and Sierra. Bucky sang the first part as he held her hand. She sang the second verse they have practice the song before just never performed it before.

The next song they had them sing was one of their favorites "Keep On Lovin You" by Steel Magnolia. Mr Franklin smiled when they did this song cause he knew they could do it cause it was on their submission tape and their 4th of July show.

The next song was "Just By Being You" By Steel Magnolia another one they have done.

Mr Franklin motioned for them to come back into the room. "So Mr Kingston what did you think?' Robert said

"You two sound good together how long have you two been singing together?' Mr Kingston said

"Since we were 5. We took vocal lessons with the same lady." Bucky said

"And you can play instruments?' Mr Kingston said

"Yes sir. I play acoustic bass and electric guitars and drums." Bucky said

"And I can play the piano acoustic bass and electric guitars and drums." Amelia said

"Let's go to my office and discuss some things then." Mr Kingston said

They went into his office and sat down. "So because you two are 16 and sophomores in high school what I want to do is for you two to start writing songs together and then starting  around your spring break we will start sending you to festivals around where you live. Get your name out there you need a name. Like one of the songs you sang the band was called Alex and Sierra. You could do Amelia and James. What ever you choose let us know before we start doing festival circuits. I want you two in here on the weeeknds working with one of our songwriters to help you all write once we have enough songs written we can record an album. I"m gonna let your parents look this over so they feel comfortable with everything. We won't send you out on tour until your summer breaks." Mr Kingston said

Their dads looked over everything and let Lisa read it and everything was in order. They looked at their dads and they said "Go ahead..it's your dream guys. "

They both took a pen and signed their names to the contract.  "Welcome to Kingston Records guys.. we will be in touch. " Mr Kingston said as they shook hands.

That night they went home and broke the good news for them. Then as they laid in bed that night he said "Barnes Square."

"Why that?' she said

"Because I want us to get married before anything else happens" he said

She smiled and said "Okay."

They cuddled up and went to sleep.
