Chapter 25

Adonis

I woke up the next morning feeling excited about today's scheduled activities. I knew that Marco was gonna try to keep me away from Vixen as much as possible so I had to use one of his weaknesses to help me out. I found out he was scared of the water when we were teenagers and both of us were invited to a high school pool party and I noticed he didn't get in the water the whole time which was odd so my buddies and I had a plan to throw him in the pool. We continued to do so and he was not happy. Even though he could touch the bottom of the pool and still be above water he acted as if we threw him in the middle of the ocean. From then on he didn't go anywhere near water which is why I found it surprising that he managed to get here in one piece.

I was in the living room waiting for Vixen to get out of her room so we can go on with the water events. Marco is in my room using my bathroom since he didn't have his own.

My head snaps up at the sound of a door opening and it's just my brother walking out of my room.

He comes to sit at the other side of the living room and I was confused as to why he looked like he was about to join us.

"Why are you dressed to go out?" I question.

"Haha, you didn't really think your trick worked on me right? I knew what you were trying to do, and if I have to dive in the middle of the ocean to keep you away from Vixen then so be it."

I didn't reply because I was gonna make sure that he regretted this. The staff work for me so I have the upper hand.

Our heads both turn to the sound of footsteps and it was safe to say that our breaths were taken away. You'd think that by now I'd be used to seeing Vixen in a bathing suit but it looks like it's gonna take some time.

"We should get going I don't wanna miss anything," Vixen says excitedly. As she walks into the elevator

We follow suit like lost puppies and I can't help but smile at how excited she looked, my gaze drifts to Marco and my smile turns into a wicked grin seeing that he was fiddling nervously, probably trying to tell himself that he isn't scared of the water.

The elevator stops at the main floor where the first water activity is taking place, scuba diving.

I almost burst out laughing seeing Marcos horrified face when he found out what we doing. Meanwhile, Vixen was already eagerly putting on her gear.

She stops what she was doing when her gaze stops on Marco. A concerned look dawns upon her as she approaches Marco.

"Hey, are you alright you're awfully pale," Vixen asks worriedly putting her hand on his forehead.

"Yah I'm alright I think I'll have to sit out from this one though I don't think I'll be able to go in." This sudden news put a frown on Vixens' face.

"Well, I hope you start feeling better. You can do other activities with us then."

"No go ahead I'll just wait here for you, then we can do something else. You looked like you really wanted to do it so I don't want to stop you from going."

I was waiting impatiently for them to finish their conversation, meanwhile, I'm all suited ready to go.

I saw Vixen hesitantly leave Marco on a little bench and make her way to me. The instructor made his way to Vixen and I didn't like how close he got to her.
