Epilogue

"Adonis Marcus King !!! Get your butt down here right now!"

"Love what is it." In comes Adonis looking all groggy probably from his disturbed sleep.

"Would you mind telling me why there was a 50 million dollar purchase in your bank account?"

He suddenly looked wide awake as he went over to snatch up the bank statement paper that I was holding. He looked through it carefully and swore under his breath.

"It's a secret."

"Adonis what in the world do you have up your sleeve. I swear if you are planning another month-long trip to a private island then I'll politely decline because I don't need to go to a secluded private island to be able to enjoy time with you."

"I told you that it's a secret so that means that I can't tell you."

"I'm telling Marco about this." I threatened s I slowly went to reach my phone.

He quickly rushed over to me as he picked me up so that I was sitting on his lap.

"I need you to trust me on this okay? And quit trying to threaten me by using Marco. You're acting like he's your brother more than mine." he pouted like a child which made me forgot what I was mad about earlier.

"But he really does act more like my brother though, I'm starting to think he's trying to replace James with the brother role."

"Well yeah since James is busy with his boyfriend all the time."

"I'm happy for them though. I've always felt bad because James has always felt the need to look after me that he sacrificed his own social life. Speaking of James and Marco they're coming over for a barbeque so make sure to dress up nicely."

"Love, you know I look good whatever I wear and especially when I'm not wearing anything." He said as he wiggled his eyebrows at me making me blush at the memory of our night."You especially liked it when I did that thing when I put...."

He was interrupted by the dinging of the oven which made me get out of the steamy situation.

"Oh, would you look at that, the cupcakes are ready."

I quickly got up to go to the kitchen before I decided that I wanted to recreate want happened last night.

I remember the time when Adonis made me cupcakes on the cruise ride. That was 3 years ago. Time goes by so fast.

Everything is going great. Definitely, the best time I've ever had. I felt like I was living for real this time. I'm worried about things more than just work. I felt normal.

There were definitely times where things just weren't looking up. Especially after he died not short after he cancelled his wedding. I don't refer to him as a dad because it just didn't feel right. So I just refer to him as he or him. He gave all his inheritance to me which I donated to a heart and stroke foundation under his name.

Marco decided to sell his house and just brought a studio apartment instead where he can create art as much as he wanted. He told me that he's recently met a nice girl during one of his art classes which I was very happy to hear about. I thought it would've been awkward between us but we found it very comfortable to be just friends. He acts like an overprotective older brother whenever Adonis messes something up, but overall he never regretted letting me go since he saw how happy I was with Adonis.

James has been busy with his Boyfriend Scott who he met a year ago. I was ecstatic when he found someone since he always complained about being a third-wheel to Adonis and I. He seemed truly happy with Scott and Scott is really nice so I'm really happy for them.
