Hopes POV

Right now im in my car drinving to a party like the rest of my team on my way to the state tourney soccer bonfire. Its a tradition to have a party the weekend before the state tourney. Its only for local teams so really only our school ( the Salvator Boarding School) and our rivals (Mystic Falls High-school) attend. At the party everyone forgets about the rivalry and has fun getting drunk. Actually the only real time the rivalry comes to play is on the field.

When we get to the party everyone is all hyped up and go off to find the kegs. I dont really drink so i just walk around waiting for my friends to get back. Then i start feeling like someone is watching me and then i see him. The hot mystic falls captain starring at me. Ive seen him before at games but ive never talked to him. I hold his stare for a little to long because the next thing i know my best friend, penelope park is snapping her fingers in front on my face snapping me out of my trance saying,"Stop droolin and get your ass over here and party with me!"
I laugh and look back over to see the guy whose name idk still starring at me so i wave and walk over to pen and say,"I'll stop drooling over him if you stop drooling over Josie," she rolls her eyes and just says,"I dont drool i just admire," i scoff ,"If you like to admire so much why dont you ask her out," she shrugs and says  ,"Why ask her out when i can continue flirting nonstop and make her get all cute and flustered,"
At that i just laugh and roll my eyes

After and hour off josie and penelope flirting and catching the same guy from earlier starring at me constantly, finally he approaches me ," hi im Landon, Landon Kirby,"  he has this confident smirk playing on his lips ," hi im Hope, Hope Mikaelson," i say smirking right back with the signature Mikaelson smirk."You know your very pretty," he says i reply with my normal sarcasm saying,"Is that so, huh and here i thought i was the only one thinking i looked good," he responds with a husky laugh that just make me think he is hotter. One of his drunk buddies come over and bout passes out right there, i recognize his buddy as connor a nice guy that i used to know , so he said," i need to get him home, i'll see you at the tournament," and  i smirk and say,"Give me your hand." he looks like he is unsure but gives it to me anyway, i pulled out a sharpie and wrote down my number and he smiled and said,"What not even gonna make me ask?" He has that smirk again and i look down tryna conceal the redness flooding to my face and then i just say," Why wait when I know your going to ask," he just smirks and then gets his passed out drunk friend to his car looking at me one more time before getting in and driving off. Then i go off and find penelope so i can get her drunk butt back to school before curfew. When we get back we see the saltzman twins getting back at the same time and josie says,"Who was that cute guy you were talkin to at the party," and i smile and say," the very hot mystic falls team captain," the she laughs and smirks,"Looks like someone has a crush," lizzie says walking up next to here sister smirking to then i just say ,"shut up" which causes them to laugh and go inside leaving me to get a drunk penelope inside on my own.

After getting penelope in bed i lay down in my bed but there is a certain pair of eyes that i cant get out of my head, the green-grey eyes of a certain boy named Landon Kirby until finally i drift of to sleep thinking of him.
