Reunion

Jamie and Baby Tooth rushed over to the window at the sound of laughter. As they did, something rushed past.

Baby Tooth gasped. "Pitch!" She squeaked.

Jamie looked at her with wide eyes. "Are you sure?!"

She nodded and tried to open the window. Seeing the fairy struggle, Jamie opened it for her. Once it was open, Baby Tooth flew out and saw a shadowy figure fly away. "I have to go warn Jack!"

Jamie nodded. "Go!" He urged. "I'll be fine!"

"I'll be back soon!" Baby Tooth assured him as she rushed off.

Pitch smirked as the tiny fairy flew off. With a snicker, he followed her.

It wasn't long until an island came into view. Pitch's grin widened as he followed the fairy onto it, making sure to stay unseen. He watched as she hurriedly flew to a certain part of the island. Still keeping his distance, Pitch got as close as he dared. He smirked when he saw Frost sitting beside your sleeping form.

Baby Tooth came to a stop in front of the Guardian. The winter spirit looked up at her in surprise.

"Baby Tooth?! How did you find me?" He asked.

The fairy responded with a series of squeaks Pitch couldn't understand.

Frost's eyes widened. "Pitch?! You saw him?!" He exclaimed.

More squeaking.

Frost shot to his feet and looked ready to spring into action. Baby Tooth stopped him with a tug on his hood. She gestured to you. Looking over at you, the boy bit his lip. He thought for a moment. "Alright. Baby Tooth, I'm going to head over to Burgess. Go get Sandy, or whoever you can find fastest."

The fairy nodded and let out an affirmative squeak before flying away.

Before Frost did the same, he turned to you and knelt down. "I'll be right back, Y/N." He whispered. He hesitated for a moment before placing a kiss on your forehead.

Pitch raised an eyebrow.

Interesting.

The winter spirit flew off after that, leaving you alone with the Boogeyman.

Letting out a dark chuckle, Pitch approached your sleeping body. He knew he couldn't alter your dream here. He couldn't even enter it. Sandman's dream sand was too powerful. With limited options, Pitch carefully picked you up bridal style. He looked down at you with a smirk. "Welcome back, Y/N." He said, his voice sickeningly sweet as he left Sandman's island.

"I missed you."

Sandy was on his way back to his island when he noticed Baby Tooth rushing towards him. When she spotted him, she stopped with a relieved look on her face. Sandy formed a question mark over his head.

"I was over in Burgess with Jamie when we saw Pitch!" Baby Tooth explained, Sandy understanding her chirps easily.

Sandy's eyes widened as the small fairy spoke. What?! Where is he now? Do the others know?

Baby Tooth shook her head after deciphering the dream sand messages.

The two understood each other better than anyone else ever could, what with them both having to rely on different means then words to get their points across.

"Jack left for Burgess and told me to come get you!" The fairy continued.

Sandy paled. Wait, Jack left Y/N alone?!
