Fifteen years later...

Ralph Hartman (Now At Age 35) was at his cell awaiting for release. A police officer walks to his cell and unlocks his cell, "So...Mr. Hartman" the police officer said "You're leaving us huh? We really really enjoyed ya here." Ralph just glared at the officer, "follow me so you can get your things" the officer said before pointing his stick to the left. Ralph gets up and follows him to the item recovery stand, another officer who runs the stand gives him back his wallet and car keys. Then the officer leads him outside the jailhouse. "Enjoy The freedom" The officer said, "hope you do it again so I can beat you to death, because trust me, I will enjoy every second of it" the officer said while chuckling and pushes him out and closes the door behind him. "Damn fool" Ralph said to himself and gets in his car and drives out of the area.

Ralph drives to his mothers house, so he can get back up to his feet. Ralph arrived and knocked on her mothers door. Her mother answered him, but wasn't happy to see him. "Hello Momma" said Ralph, His mom glares at him "I cannot believe it" his mother said, "my own son, having a criminal record now...I thought I raised you well." "But momma" Ralph said sadly, "I'm sorry, I wasn't thinking clearly. "Is that it?" His mom said, "You just weren't thinking clearly? What kind of a son are you" His mom bursts into tears, "I thought I raised a good son..." Ralph looks down "Momma...I'm sorry, I just need somewhere to stay so I can get back up my-", His mom shuts the door on his face and Ralph starts tearing up. "Why do I have to make the wrong choices..." Ralph said as he walks to his car and sits in it for a minute. Ralph got out his wallet and looks at his family photos, one of the tear drops lands on his moms picture, then Ralph closed his wallet and drove off.
