Outside in

Panic

My breathe quickens
My chest begins to ache
I start to sweat
My face flushes
My body begins to shake
I begin to taste blood
My eyes dart around frantically
My thoughts run wild
My knees start to buckle
Tears begin to run down my face
My heart pounds in my ears
Everything becomes so much louder
I can hear the silent unsaid judgements of those around me
I'm under attack by an unseen force
Panic
