He knew. Redbeard knew that Furia was going to attack Jordan. Not only that, he saw him dying and he said nothing. I stare at him trying to figure out why he would've done that. He's just staring at me wide-eyed as if he knows there isn't an explanation for this. I was sure that he would have something to say for himself. It's like he thought I wouldn't have questions.
"I... I didn't..." He stumbles on his words, shaking as looks at me. I can't force him to tell me anything, but I thought he would say something. I mean, if he said something then I could understand. There must be a reason that he was hiding it, though. It can't just be selfishness. He couldn't have put Jordan's life in danger without a reason. He was sent by Ianite to help him, not risk his life.
"Red, you need to breathe," Andrew says, attempting to stand from where he's sitting. He quickly stops when Redbeard, despite his panic, places a hand on his shoulder. It's a very weird scene to see, especially considering that Redbeard is practically shaking. It almost makes me feel bad for confronting him, almost. He was nervous the first time we talked about his visions too before I know that he hid the fact Jordan was in danger.
"I... I'm sorry. I didn't want to bother you. I've learned to deal with this myself over the years," Deal with it? He can't have really taken people's lives on his own shoulders for years, could he? I mean, that would be insane. Surely if he tried to tell people, someone would believe him and help. Clearly, Andrew knows so he has told people before. "I don't exactly expect people to believe me if I tell them."
"I believed you. I believed what you told me anyway. If you'd told me that Jordan was going to be in trouble, I could've helped," He looks at me with so much pain in his eyes. I feel a lump grow in my throat. How many times has he been hurt because of these visions? I mean, he must have tried to stop them as he did with Jordan. Doing that all by himself must have taken a toll on him.
"I know, I just--"
"Hello? Anyone here?" A voice I don't recognise calls out. Both Redbeard and Andrew clearly know the owner as relieve flashes on Redbeard's face while Andrew smiles. "Capsize rescued me from the cells again!"
Despite the weirdness of the statement, it at least explains where Capsize was. I hope Jordan went with her since if not I have no idea where he could've gone. I doubt he wandered off by himself anyway, even Jordan wouldn't do that. Of course, it also means this conversation is definitely over even though I don't have the answers I went from this situation. I can't exactly force Redbeard to stay up here and explain everything to me. Even if I certainly don't want to just stop talking about it.
"Can we talk about this later? I wasn't lying when I said that Kathy – Capsize – doesn't know about... this," He looks at me as if he doesn't think I'll agree to that. I wouldn't mind an actual explanation now but if he says he'll tell me later then I can't exactly force him to tell me now. Even if I do want answers that would be pushing it. This is clearly something he isn't very comfortable talking about.
"As long as you don't lie to me when you do," I leave the room, knowing that the others will have questions if I stay for much longer. That's the last thing I need. As I go downstairs, I hear conversations that relaxes me with how calm it sounds. Now to meet whoever this new person is.
"Sonja! Sonja, this is Lotus, Capsize's first mate," Jordan grabs me the moment I enter the room where everyone else is. He guides me to look at who must be the woman who announced their arrival. If I had to guess, I'd say she's a little older than Capsize though that might just be because she's taller. A mess of curls that form her hair has been pulled back into a ponytail, like the way Capsize normally wears her hair, though, Lotus' ponytail is much thicker. She looks sort of dishevelled but when she turns to look at me, she looks at me and smiles.
"So, you're Sonja. Good to meet the champion that isn't a guy," She says with a smirk. I feel a slight blush as I shake her hand. Get over yourself, Sonja. This isn't the time to be acting like an idiot. Even if her smile is beautiful and the tattoos on her body draw my eyes to her. I wonder why she didn't come with Capsize and Redbeard to our island. Surely first mate is a high enough rank for her to be trusted by Ianite. Not to mention, it would've been nice to meet her earlier. "I've heard good things about you."
"Really, you have?" I hope I didn't sound the way I think I do. Somehow, despite how I don't stumble over my words, I'm still sure that I'm making a mess of them. Why am I feeling like this now? I shouldn't be panicking in a normal conversation, especially now considering what the last conversation was about. I can only imagine what Mianite would say about this behaviour, not that he really pays attention to me.
"Yeah, Jordan here wouldn't stop—Red! Andrew! Dear gods, I've missed you!" I can't help but feel relieved that her attention moves away from me. What's going on with my head? I see Capsize look at me, a quizzical look on her face. I almost sigh when I see her typing.
> Are you okay? Nothing bad happened while I wasn't here, right?
> I'm fine, Capsize. I'm pretty sure nothing bad happened when I wasn't here too.
Despite how I feel that she deserves to know, I don't mention my conversation with Redbeard. He must have a reason for hiding his visions from her. Even if I don't think that's a good idea, it's not my place to relieve his secrets. I just hope he tells her at some point. Even if she's angry at first, surely, it's better to tell her then to wait for it to come out another way. Nothing stays hidden forever, after all. I just don't want to worst to happen.

It has been much longer than I intended since I last updated this story. That definitely wasn't intentional but life (life being university work) gets in the way. That being said, I have been writing some other, sort of more original stuff if anyone is interested in me posting any of that.
