"Sorry mujhe ane mein der ho gayi.",
apologizes Naina, reaching Rajveer outside a mall.
Rajveer smiles at her and says,
"It's okay."
"Actually Ma se hi baat kar rahi thi. Well Ma-Baba se baat ki kal maine, thankfully wo convince ho gaye.",
says Naina, sighing.
Rajveer looks towards her and asks,
"Aur uske liye tumhe kitne papad belne padey?",
smiling.
Naina rolls her eyes,
"Puchiye mat!"
"Kisi ko convince karne ki baat aa jaye to main bohot buri hun uss mein.",
she accepts, feeling sad.
"Chalo acha hai!",
murmurs Rajveer, hiding his amusement.
Naina doesn't fail to hear that. She narrows her eyes on him and asks,
"Matlab?"
Rajveer laughs and says,
"Fir tum mujhe convince karne ki koshish nahi karogi na."
"Fir aap aisa kuch karna hi mat jisse ki mujhe apko convince karne ki zarurat padey.",
she warns him, knitting her brows.
They walk further and reach in front of a mall.
"Chalna hai ander ya aise hi ghoomna hai?",
asks Rajveer.
"Aise hi ghoomna hai.",
smiles Naina.
Rajveer smiles back and they walk together.
Naina shivers a little when she notices that Rajveer is holding a hanky in his hand the embroidery of which Naina is well familiar with!
Rajveer rubs the embroidery, with his thumb, smiling as he remembers someone fondly.
Naina gets nervous and couldn't resist asking,
"Ye... ye hanky....",
she gulps her saliva out of nervousness and changes her further words,
"...iski embroi....",
she was about to compliment the embroidery, somehow knowing that if she leaves her sentence incomplete, Rajveer will turn adamant to know what she wanted to say.
"Mere ek batch mate Naveen ki hai!",
replies Rajveer, cutting her short, saving her from speaking further.
Chills run down Naina's spine on hearing that.
Suddenly a thought crosses Rajveer's mind and out of eagerness and curiosity, Rajveer turns to look towards her and tells Naina,
"Hey you know something Naveen and You share the last names. Interesting na? In fact after your looks your name had attracted me to you.",
Rajveer blushes as he remembers their encounter in the exam hall.
Rajveer realizes that Naina has gone quiet and prompts her,
"Naina?"
"Ahmm... ji... ji...!",
Naina fumbles as she speaks.
