Impatience in him rested, the moment he entered the premises of KMA, realizes the Cadet of KMA of yesteryear, who today has returned to KMA with a new identity attached to his name. Today he is not the outstanding student of Strategies and Communication - Cadet Rajveer Singh Shekhawat but the teacher of the same subject who henceforth will be addressed as Captain Rajveer Singh Shekhawat!
Not everything has changed about KMA, he realizes only when his eyes witness a huge crowd of freshers. A smile stretches on his lips when he notices how all the freshers are jellying up with each other in no time, as if they have known each other since forever. Had he not been shy by nature; he would have surely managed to be friends with quite a few male freshers on the very first day as well during his days in KMA as cadet, he wonders.
Fresher isn't only the cadets who have joined KMA only today but he himself too, who too has joined KMA today, first time as a teacher. The nervousness, the excitement that all these cadets are feeling at the moment, Captain Rajveer is glad that he could share this feeling with them, though not going verbal about it anytime soon.
As his eyes scan the freshers randomly, they happen to rest on a particular fresher who manages to skip his heartbeat. No! Love at first sight hasn't happened yet. 'Love' as in falling for someone; getting along with someone romantically, that is not his thing. Or perhaps he hasn't yet gotten a reason to consider it as 'his thing'! He if ever has fallen in love with someone, it is only his motherland - this is what he has repeatedly said to anyone and everyone who has shown interest in knowing about his love life.
Love at first sight is also not something that you can expect from the master of strategies, who thinks for at least three times before communicating something to someone. So what exactly is it that brought a sudden change in his expression?
Familiar faces will be met again. Familiar vibes will be felt. This he knew already. But a certain familiar face to whom he is still unfamiliar; the face he had been searching for when finally rests in front of his eyes, goosebumps had to be felt!
What increased the velocity of feeling goosebumps is the fact that the pair of eyes that he rested his eyes upon were already staring him!
Could it be just a coincidence? Or is there something that he needs to unravel?

Curiosity kills! Even after repeating this mantra several times, Naina, who henceforth will be addressed as Cadet Naina, couldn't keep her curiosity at bay. It doesn't take much time to get hold of someone if your desperation to come in contact with that person is at its peak. Such was the case with Naina when she entered KMA. More than appreciating the interior of KMA; excited to witness the crowd of freshers; Naina had her entire interest focused on the person standing in front of her, who yet hasn't introduced himself neither to other freshers nor to her, but his mere face; his smile, are more than enough for Naina to know that he is none other than - Rajveer Singh Shekhawat.
But what surprises her is his presence here in KMA. She should have done her research before joining KMA, she realizes. She sometimes hates herself for her impatience. What could be his agenda to join KMA just when she decided to join? Can this be just a coincidence or has it something that Naina should stay aware and alert of?
She cannot trust anyone here - she repeats to herself for the umpteenth time. She will not trust anyone here - she remembers promising herself that back at her home. But something about his eyes, make Naina unable to show distrust towards him, how hard might she want to undo it though.
Those eyes; that smile, she of course is not entirely unfamiliar to. The photograph, which she has also carried with her to KMA, floats in front of her eyes and all she can focus even now just like she focused when she saw it for the first time back at her home, is his eyes followed by his smile. To her, these two parts of his, betray each other! Where on one hand his eyes seem captivating, the ones which if catch your attention, won't let you drift your eyes without their permission to do so; there on the other hand his smile seems pure and innocent, as if 'captivation' isn't something he knows, he just knows to set free!
