Jungkook sat in his room, packing down his clothes and the extra pair of shoes into boxes. He was sad that it was all going to end up wrinkled after laying in the box, but he figured that he could straighten it out at the guys' house.

His mom was out of the house, so Jungkook had until four pm to pack all of his belongings without his mom noticing all the noise from upstairs.

And so far, he was halfway done, thank god. Luckily he didn't have that much stuff to pack, or just stuff in general. His mom never bought him anything. When he turned twelve he began buying all of his stuff for himself.
His clothes, shoes, his phone, and so on. Thankfully he had bought a lot of oversized clothing when he was young, so most of his clothes still fit even now.

When he turned twelve, that's when his mom stopped showing interest in her son, it was like she just didn't care.
Jungkook's dad left when he was eleven, only a couple of months before he turned twelve actually.
Maybe that's why his mom stopped caring- she became depressed and stressed after her husband left, she gained weight from stress eating, she became lazy and a terrible mother.

Jungkook did everything around the house from when he turned thirteen- he cleaned, made dinner, shopped for groceries and so forth. The only thing his mom did was work, and as soon as she got home she would slump onto the couch to watch tv.

Jungkook sighed deeply.

Finally, he was done packing all of his clothes... now, to the rest, he thought. The furniture wasn't his.
Like the bed, the desk, the closet, none of it. As he thought about that, he slightly panicked, what was he gonna do without all of his furniture?

In a slight state of panick he reached out for his phone and went to his group chat he had with his hyungs.

Jungkook put his phone on silent, and went back to packing his stuff- a big smile on his face as he did so.

He was so grateful for his new friends.
They were without a doubt the nicest people he had ever met.

Not only did they let him stay in their house rent free, they were even going to pay for his furniture!

Jungkook couldn't believe his luck, he almost felt scared that it was all a prank or even a dream. It all seemed way too good to be true.

He knew that he was going to love his new life, living in his new home, with his new and perfect friends.
