Rebekah would describe the feeling of taking off as if a thousand tons of pressure was being put on her. She hated it. Why had Reed insisted that she be one of the medical experts on the team? She'd rather not have come. It's hell. Every second was torture. Well, at least it was better than being in Johnny's presence.

The pressured feeling disappeared as the shuttle left Earth's atmosphere. There was a loud boom as they broke the sound barrier, and Rebekah immediately felt better.

The shuttle eased into the space station and docked, the system creating gravity inside the small space. The second dock was empty, as the second crew would be arriving in a few hours.

Rebekah unbuckled herself from the seat and stood, only to be knocked over by Johnny. He grabbed her waist, steadying her, but Johnny's eyes weren't on Rebekah's face. They were on her chest.

Johnny reached out and touched the yin pendant that had escaped from Rebekah's suit. She must have forgotten to take it off. "You still wear it?"

"Force of habit, I guess," Rebekah answered with a shrug.

Johnny's eyes flashed with a brief sign of hurt. He pressed his lips together and nodded before smirking. His kind personality was quickly taken over by his playboy one. "Good choice of habit."

Rebekah rolled her eyes and pushed past him, exiting the shuttle.

"GTA until cosmic event, nine hours," Victor told Reed as the entire group walked down a corridor.

"Looking good," Johnny's voice sounded behind Rebekah, and she paused for a second. "If you behave, maybe next time daddy'll let you drive."

He was talking to Ben.

"Keep talking, there won't be a next time," Ben retorted, and Rebekah laughed.

Reed stopped, focused on the image of Earth outside of the window. Sue approached to stand next to him. "Long way from the projection booth at the Hayden Planetarium, isn't it?"
