Prologue

Nora walked into her school with a bat. Her teacher told her to put it away and she ignored him. She sat at her desk and ate her food. No one dared to ask her for any. After she was done eating she laid her head down on the desk and closed her eyes. "Wake me and you'll regret it." Nora threatened. The class nodded and Nora went to sleep.

The teacher saw her and sighed. "She threatened again?" He asked. The class nodded and a group of boys and one girl walked in. "Ah the new students. Class this is Gage, Kino and Chase. They'll be with us for the rest of their time in this class. They're triplets so be careful to make sure you're talking to right person. These are their older siblings Lulu and Max. Be sure to be polite to them too." Kino walked in first and saw an empty seat next to Nora. He sat on her right. Gage sat on her left and Chase sat behind her. Kino tapped her gently and she grabbed his hand. She squeezed it and he yelped in pain.

"Ow! Stop!" Kino said. Nora glared at him.

"Do not touch me. And don't fuckin wake me up." Nora growled. She shoved him out of his seat. Gage pushed her and she took out her bat. She was about to hit him when Max grabbed her arm. Nora kicked him and slapped Gage. Chase pulled her hair and ripped some out by accident. She turned around slowly. "Did you just rip out my fuckin hair?!" She tackled him and started punching him. Lulu threw her off him and the teacher called the nearest security guard and he took Nora's arm. She pulled away from him and he tased her. he carried her out and they looked at the teacher.

"That was Nora." the teacher said. Max made sure his brothers were ok. Kino ran to the bathroom and his brothers followed him. Max watched him cry as Gage wrapped his hand with Lulu's ribbon. Chase held Kino and Lulu stood outside the door.

"How was i supposed to know that was her?" Kino asked.

"Because of the description." Lulu said.

"Lu. Not now. He's crying." Max said.

"Am i gonna have to get an x-ray on my hand to see if its broken?" Kino asked.

"Yeah. Does it hurt that much?" Max asked. Kino nodded and Chase held her hair up.

"I didn't mean to rip her hair out." Chase said.

"Give that to me." Max said. He gave the hair to him and he braided it. He wrapped it around Chase's wrist. "You did this and i think it'll piss her off to see you with her hair."

"So why are you attaching it to me?" Chase asked.

"So she knows you'll do it again." Max said.

"Won't that just make her angrier?" Chase asked.

"Um...Nora's sad." Kino said. They raised an eyebrow at him. "I saw it in her eyes."

"You think so?" Lulu asked.

In the principal's office Nora sat with her arms folded, glaring at anything and everything in the room. She avoided eye contact with the principal. "Nora why did you attack those students?" The principal asked.

"I pulled an all nighter and i didn't eat yesterday. I finally got some food in my system and all i needed was some sleep. He woke me up and his siblings attacked me." Nora said. The principal sighed and started filling out a long suspension report but stopped.

"What were you doing up all night that had you so busy that you couldn't eat a meal?" The principal asked.

"Taking care of the bills and working." Nora said.

"How long till he gets out?" The principal asked.

"3 weeks." Nora said.

"Can you behave yourself for three weeks?" The principal asked.

"Have i ever?" Nora asked.

"Good point but you need to not attack those students in particular. They are in a situation themselves." The principal said. He covered his mouth and Nora looked at him.

"In a situation?" Nora asked.

"I cannot say more about it but the faculty is aware of it." The principal said. Nora got up and began walking out.

"I'm off to the teacher's lounge. I'm gonna take a nap." Nora said.

"Go to the nurse." The principal said.

"No. They'd be there taking care of them." Nora said. The principal thought for a moment and nodded. Nora walked out and slammed the door.

"That's my Niece. Brother what did you put her through for her to turn out like that?" The principal asked. The guidance counselor walked in. "Sis."

"I saw our Niece again. What happened?" The counselor asked.

"Too much." The principal said.

In the teacher's lounge Nora laid down on the couch that was in there and went to sleep holding her bat. A few teachers saw her and ignored her. They sighed and Nora woke up but kept her eyes closed. "I wonder if everything's ok with her at home." A teacher said.

"She's the daughter of the leader of the Black Rose gang. Her dad is in jail for murder. Apparently he killed one of his own members." Another teacher said.

"Why would he expose his daughter to that kind of life? Where's her mother?" The teacher asked.

"No one knows." The other teacher said. Nora sat up and they flinched. She glared at them and left. She went to the cafeteria and Lulu saw her. As she walked in everyone cleared a path for her to walk. Max walked to her and she ignored him.

"Nora. I wanna ask you something." Max said. Nora kept walking and Lulu stood in front of her. Nora shoved her out of the way and got her lunch.

"Sis are you okay?" Kino asked.

"Yeah." Lulu said.

After school Nora walked to her motorcycle and put on her helmet. She drove off and went to her house. She changed clothes and went out on her motorcycle. She made her way to the prison and visited her dad. "Baby girl." her dad said. He hugged her and she hugged back.

"Dad." Nora said.

"You seem different today." Her dad said.

"Got into it at school and had to be tased." Nora said.

"It was a security guard right?" Her dad asked. she nodded and he kissed the top of her head. She sat down with her dad and he ran his fingers through her hair.

"Some boy ripped out some of my hair and i beat him up." Nora said.

"Do you want me to as well when i get out?" Her dad asked.

"Nah. I just didn't want you questioning me about it later." Nora said.

"Oh...i raised you right. You're a smart girl." Her dad said.

"I heard teachers talking about me at school today. I wanted to beat them all up and tell them that they don't know the whole story but i stopped myself." Nora said.

"Take. What's yours Nora." Her dad said. She nodded and a security guard walked to them.

"I don't mean to be nosy or to tell you how to be a parent, but that's really bad advice. Tell her to stop being a bad child and set her straight." The security guard said. Nora was about to punch him but her dad stopped her.

"You don't know our life. Stay out of it. Or should i tell the warden what i know about you?" Her dad said. He began sweating.

"You wouldn't." He said.

"Try me." Her dad said. He backed off and Nora smiled at her dad. "I want you to take some time to relax because there's something important i wanna tell you. The principal and the Guidance counselor is your aunt and uncle."

"When were they gonna tell me?" Nora asked.

"I told them not to because i didn't want you to see our lives compared to theirs and hate me." Her dad said.
