"Cher do you wanna look at the new song?" Sonny said.

"Sure." Cher said.

Cher scanned over Sonny's song lyrics. She thought they were amazing.

I was five and he was six

We rode on horses made of sticks

He wore black and I wore white

He would always win the fight

Bang bang, he shot me down

Bang bang, I hit the ground

Bang bang, that awful sound

Bang bang, my baby shot me down

Cher was impressed at Sonny's talent. Sonny could write a song in a minute if you wanted. Cher loved being his partner.

Seasons came and changed the time

And I grew up, I called him mine

He would always laugh and say

"Remember when we used to play?"

Bang bang, I shot you down

Bang bang, you hit the ground

Bang bang, that awful sound

Bang bang, I used to shoot you down

The song was violent in a playfully way. This was bound to be a hit. This will get stuck in everyone's heads.

Music played and people sang

Just for me the church bells rang

Now he's gone I don't know why

Until this days sometimes I cry

He didn't even say goodbye

He didn't take the time to lie

Bang bang, he shot me down

Bang bang, I hit the ground

Bang bang, that awful sound

Bang bang, my baby shot me down

"That was a beautiful song Sonny!" Cher hugged the songwriter.

"Thanks." Sonny smiled.

"Just curious did you write it about us?" Cher asked.

"Maybe...." Sonny smiled.
