*A/N Holy shat I’m so sorry I haven’t updated, I’ve been busy with homework, like I’ve been working on this since the day after I posted last time and I just finished it today so I. Feel. Horrible. But it’s here, I hope you like it, but if you don’t that’s okay too, just tell me you don’t. And the chapter name is 'He's Not Afraid, yes i know its 'She's' but that doesn't apply to this fanfiction*

After we dropped Desmond off Anne looked into the back seat apologetically, “Don’t worry about him, he’s just a grouch.” She said pulling away from the curb, she wasn’t wrong, he was angry a lot. “Now that he’s gone, how’s the relationship going?” She asked looking in the rear view and winking at Harry, “Mum, that’s gross.” Harry said playfully hitting his mom, “You were always the grosses one in One Direction Harry.” I say shrugging, “Some boyfriend you are… Siding with my mum,” He looked away making a pouty face, “Hey, I’m getting brownie points.” I say shaking his curls that were growing back fuller then before.

“True true, just agree with me a little too this week please?” Harry said looking me in the eye and making the pouty face again, I just avoided eye contact; I was not making any promises, especially if it gets me brownie points. He knew I was going to when I didn’t look at him but he understood why. “Hey, Lou you don’t have to agree with me if you don’t actually agree.” Anne said smiling into the rear view mirror, I simply nod and smile at Harry, “See even mum says don’t worry about always agreeing with her…” Harry said smiling back triumphantly, I roll my eyes, I knew that I would be getting this look a lot this year.

After that short conversation, nobody spoke, the car was silent other then the ‘Four’ album playing quietly in the CD player. A couple times Harry took out his phone and then put it back into his pocket, checking the time. When we pulled into the driveway Harry looked at his mom and then me, “You said we were in my room?” Harry asked patting his mothers shoulder, “Yes, go on, get your stuff together and then come and sit out in the living room with Gemma and I.” She said shooing us away, “Wait Gemma is home?” I ask getting out of the car, “Well not yet, she is coming in about an hour, she is bringing a guest of her own.” Anne wiggled her eyebrows jokingly.

Harry grabbing the bag out of the trunk and rolled it into the fair sized bedroom, “So, did you know Gemma had a boyfriend?” I ask him biting my upper lip, “Nope, but he better not be homophobic.” Harry said chuckling a little. I just nod, I still wasn’t all about the gay jokes, but some of them were okay with me. “Sorry…”Harry noticed my reaction and grabbing my right hand, “I’m still not use to this…” He said hugging me tightly, “Its fine, you’ll get use to it eventually.” I tell him nodding and walking into the hallway that leads to the living room. “You settled in boys?” Harry’s mum asked when we got into the living room, "Yup, ready to sleep eat and do nothing around the house." Harry said smiling devilishly. Anne shook her head and walked quickly into the kitchen with Harry following slowly behind her.

"So mum, who is Gemma's guest?" Harry asked nervously, "Just one of her friends from school, he's a very nice boy; you'll both get along with him." She replied opening the fridge and taking out some veggies. Neither Harry nor I bothered with asking about what she was making because she liked to keep her dinner plans a secret. Harry makes his way into the dining room and sits down putting his head in his hands, "What's up Harry?" I say sitting and placing my phone on the table and staring intently at him, "I'm nervous now." Harry said dropping his hands hard, "Nervous? About what?" I ask him, I knew his answer already, but maybe if he said it he’d rethink it. “I just don’t want Gemma’s friend to think we’re you know weird.” He said shrugging, I wasn’t going to tell him it would all work out because I honestly didn’t know if it would or not. “We can only hope for the best” I end up telling him rubbing his shoulder.

“Are you boy’s hungry?” Anne said bring out a bowl of salad and some cold cuts. “Yes, thank you Anne.” I say grabbing a piece of lettuce and sticking it in my mouth, “Thanks mom,” Harry said filling a plate with cold cuts and salad. “After we eat do you want to go to bed? We had an early morning.” Harry asks stuffing a fork full of green into him mouth; I just nod and continue nomming on the leafy goodness. “You’re such a rabbit Lou.” Harry said clearing his plate and then getting some more. “Says the rabbit King!” I reply laughing and looking at his second plate for salad, “Hey, if I’m king you’re queen.” He told me laughing.

“I’m going to head off to bed, I’m really tired, do you want the inside or the outside?” I ask him getting up and waiting for his response, “Outside.” Harry replied covering his mouth and saving me from having ‘seafood’.  I nod in response just so he knows I was listening, bringing my plate into the kitchen and placing it in the sink to be washed, “Goodnight Anne.” I say walking through the living room and to the bedroom that Harry and I would be sharing for the next week.

Not that I was complaining I had been sleeping with him for the past few weeks, I was use to his snoring and the grinding of his teeth. After a long few moments of thinking of Harry quirks I change into Pajamas and brush my teeth, “Hey Lou, I thought you’d be asleep by now…” Harry said tying his night shorts at his waist, “I was just brushing my teeth” I reply smiling and walking over to the bed. I lay down quickly and before he can say another word I say my ‘goodnight’ and then I’m out light a light.
