(Warning: swearing, Violence)

I didn't care if the others noticed I was gone, Im hunting down that son of a bitch. What he did to me was painful and im going to make him feel that pain.

I got down town, it was very dark from very few street lamps actually working. I heald my sythe close. "Jackyl you son of a bitch! Where are you?!" I shouted, not caring about the sleeping humans in the buildings around me. Then he appeared just down the road. He stared at me and I stared back with a scowl.

"Virgil! I was expecting you." He said in his obnoxious tone. "I wish I could say the same." I growled. "Well then. Let's get this over with. I've got plans to carry out." I grew a dangerous look on my face as I charged at him. He looked ready for this.

Our sythe's clashed and I managed to cut his cheek slightly. He grunted then pushed me off him, taking a slice at me. I managed to dodge, but lost sight of him in the process. When I turned back to face him again, he was gone. I looked around frantically, trying to find him when I felt pain shoot up my back and heard a snap. I screamed, turning around to find Jackyl standing there with a smirked. God my back hurts! Not just my back, my wings. I turned my head to look at my back and saw one of my wings were hanging limp.

That bitch snapped my wing! God! I turned back to him slicing at him while fighting the agonizing pain shooting through my body. He just flew up to dodge like he was rubbing it in my face.  I took the chance and struck his leg, leaving a small gash. He scowled and kicked me in the face. I fell hard on my back, landing right on my wings. I winced loudly as I heard several cracks with shocks of pain coursing through me.

Jackyl landed hard on top of me, knocking the air out of my lungs. I gasped for air. The last thing I remember was Jackyl's smiling face before he hit me with the base of his sythe. Everything went black.
