Tell me what you think/criticisms/whatever hahaha
This is a bit of a longer chapter--or at least that's what I thought it looked like on the computer :D

"I can't run any faster," I said.
Cole looked behind us. "We should really pick up the pace," he said.
"How exactly do we do that?" I snapped.
"Whoa," he replied, sliding to a stop. "Wait." He stretched his arm out to the side, and I collided with it. He steadied me.
"What?" I screeched. I bounced in place, and looked behind us again. All three men were getting closer. We had to move.
"Look over there." He pointed off to the side.
I followed where he was pointing, and saw a motorcycle. "What can we do with that?"
"I know how to drive motorcycles."
"So what are you going to do? Steal it? Being hunted down for stealing is worse than being chased for being missing."
"But you can't say it's worse than being chased for classified information," he pointed out.
I thought about that for a short second. Then I pushed him toward the vehicle. "Let's go."
"That's what I thought."
We ran to the motorcycle and Cole got on it first, tossing me the helmet that was resting behind him.
I caught it and placed it on the ground. There was no way I would wear that thing. Who did it even belong to? I could wait until we were a safe distance away to get my own. Even though it seemed silly to worry about such a small matter, I had to at least be in control of some things to keep my sanity.
"Wait," I said. "Don't you need a key?"
"This one doesn't seem to need one."
"Good."
Cole looked around. Then his gaze rested on something and his eyes bulged. "But maybe that guy should've gotten one that did."
I looked up and saw a guy running toward us. He had on the motorcycle getup that you usually saw, so I assumed we were stealing his bike. And he did not seem like the type of guy to mess with. You know, broad shoulders, big upper arms...big everything.
Yikes.
"Hurry," I urged.
"I'm going as fast as I can," he gasped, glancing back at the machine. "This isn't as easy as it seems."
Cole pressed a button, turned on the fuel, and lifted some sort of switch up. Then he moved the bike back and forth a few times. Noticing how it didn't really move, I used my limited vehicle knowledge to assume he had it in neutral. He held the clutch and quickly kicked one of the bars.
The engine roared to life, and I jumped at the sound.
"Get on," he ordered.
The man who I thought owned the bike was almost to us.
"Hey!" he shouted. "Get off that bike!"
"Sorry!" Cole shouted back. "Can't do that. It's a matter of life or death." He looked at me. "What are you waiting for?"
I jumped on the bike behind him, and hugged him tightly around the waist, resting my cheek between his shoulder blades. As he let the bike roll, I pressed my thighs tight around his to keep from falling off. And we were on our way.
