If I'm going to be In America I'm going to need some money, I already have around £200 but I have a feeling that's not going to work...
If I ask my parents for money, they will probably want to know what it would be for, so that's not an option.
I guess the only option I have left Is work. I'm old enough so that will be okay but finding a job In London, especially for a fourteen year old, would be hard, very hard. I can't go around corner shops begging for a job so I guess the easier way would be to search online.
I search google: Jobs in London for 14 year olds.
A lot of results come up I click the first one because that's always the most reliable source. A list of jobs come up and I filter them to the closest to me, I can't be in a job that I'm not good at so I filter that too, I can't find any auditions because it would take too long to go through the auditioning process and If I don't get the job then it could be a waste of time.
I choose a few more filters to filter it down to hairdressing and fashion. I find one for a hairdressing shop on a high street 20 minutes from my house, that'll work. After the application process I go and call my best friend Channel on the phone. Basically, the convasation goe like this:
"Hey Channel"
"Hey Kim, what's up?"
"Well I'm going to America soon, for six weeks! how exiting!"
"Really! I am so Jealous right now!"
"And you should be"
"So, what are you gonna do"
"I want to get some auditions, New York is where dreams come true!"
"Well don't forget me!"
"No promises!"
"Haha okay, I got to go, but have fun!
"Bye, I'm going to miss you Channel!"
Just as I put the phone down, I get a text from an unknown number saying that I got the job. seeing as my application was not very appealing to me, I'm surprised that I got the job, or got a response.
