It was the next day now, and everything was kinda awful. People seemed really upset about having to be in a killing game (AN: no duh). Nagito still looked really happy, but Hajime was really sad looking.
I was eating breakfast in the cafe before everyone else (I didn't have a cabin but i didn't want anyone to know i wasn't supposed to be here so I slept in the kitchen) and then Nagito walked into the cafe. He smiled and waved at me.
I felt my heart skip and I waved back at him. "Hi Nagito," i sighed. He sat next to me. "So, miss ultimate otaku, what do you think of all this killing game business."
"I... i'm kinda worried." I shrug. "I don't know, i don't want someone to get killed." Nagito nods, and sets his hand on mine. I blush really hard. "Silly Alex," he said "Nobodys gonna kill each other! We would never."
I knew he was lying to me, and I felt a little bad. "Okay... will you promise me you won't kill anyone?" He blinked at me for a second and I knew he was thinking about his plan to kill byakuya. "Of course" he says smiling and lying, "I promise."
"Then I promise I won't ever kill anyone, too."
"What are you guys talking about?"
We both turned towards the door and Hajime stood there looking at us. Nagito smiled. "We're promising each other we'll never kill anyone. Wanna promise with us?" I blushed at the thought that Nagito might think of the promise as something intimate, which was probably why he invited Hajime.
"I don't need to promise!" he said. "I know i'll never kill anyone."
"If youre so confident why don't you promise it?"
He opened his mouth to say something but quickly shut it. "Okay," he said finally and walked over to us. He put his hand on our joines hands, blushing a little bit, and I smiled at how cute he was. "I promise to never kill anyone."
"Great!" I said. "Then we'll all remain innocent." Nagito looked at the floor and I could feel a bit of shame resonating off of him.
