Always needed (Ceylan x Guren)

It was another day. Guren sat at home alone with Max. Since the defeat of Villais there hasn't been much going on, or any summoning. So Guren became a little distant, witch worried his best friend and, love interest, Ceylan.

The blue haired male tried most everything but Guren was unresponsive. No matter what he did. So he decided if he was going to be like that during hang outs and school, maybe he'll be a little more reactive if he showed up at his house.

Approaching the Nash residents, Ceylan thought about when Guren was always making sure everyone got along and was having a good time. The way there would never be a moment when he didn't see the good in most every situation. And how he would give his praise and encouragement to him the most.

He shook the though away not wanting to blush. Now at the door he hesitanted for a moment then knocked. Guren gently move the now sleeping Max, from his stomach to the couch, and went answer the door. The moment he saw Ceylan his eyes went wide. Fir the only reason he wasn't expecting this.

"Hi stranger, how are ya." Ceylan said with charming smile

"I'm doing alright, I guess. What are you doing here?" Guren asked

"Just wanted to spent to time with you. That's what friends do, remember." Ceylan joked

"Did he really just play the 'remember' card?" Guren thought stepping aside letting him in

Ceylan walked in and looked around as he made his way to the living room. It wasn't the first time he was over but it had been awhile. Guren wasn't far behind watching his best friend carefully.

"Okay so I'm not gonna lie. I'm also her because of how you've been acting." Ceylan piped up sitting up on the couch

"What do you mean?" Guren tilted his head

"You've been different. Usually you're so up beat, and you keep the group from falling apart. But lately you haven't even cracked a smiled and you've been talking and acting like a pessimist. An argument broke out yesterday and you ignored it. It got so bad that I haven't seen Gen since and I can't so much as stand next to Chooki or Toxsa without feeling like I'm gonna vomit from anxiety. We all see it Guren, and I'm scared of what'll happen if you keep going on like this." Ceylan said tears visibly welling up in his eyes

Guren just stood there dumbfounded. He truely didn't realise he changed.

"I didn't know......" Guren said quietly

Ceylan blinked a few tears fell from his eyes. Guren sat next to him and put an arm around his shoulder.

"I'm sorry. I guess since the war is over I began feeling unneeded. Like you and the others really don't need me around. Like I had no more purpose." Guren said

"Yes and no. You're the entire reason we were even able to become friends. So without you we've kinda fallen apart. What I'm trying to say is you will never lose purpose as long as we're alive." Ceylan said

Guren couldn't but smile at this. Ceylan being to distracted with wiping his tears away, didn't notice. Witch gave Guren a bold idea. He kissed Ceylan on the cheek then got up thinking he was sly. Ceylan quickly his arm and pulled him back down.

"If you're gonna kiss me do it right." Ceylan said before connecting their lips

Guren reacted quickly, kissing back happily. A few seconds passed before Max interrupted by jumping on Ceylan's head. They parted and Max meowed playing with Ceylan's hair. Guren giggled at this.

"There's the guy I know and love. And now you know that someone always needs you." Ceylan chirped

"And who's that?" Guren asked in a monotoned voice

Ceylan's jaw practically hit the floor at this. Guren laughed giving away the fact he was just trying to mess with him. Ceylan gently moved Max and tackled Guren. They play fighted for awhile. And later on Guren fixed the problem that had occurred, bring the others back together thus ridding Ceylan of the intense anxiety.

Guren finally felt needed again, bring him back to his cheerful natrue. And he finally got to advance his relationship with Ceylan.
